Audi is a master of design. These are A3 models from 2017 and I think the cabriolet is objectively beautiful.
1935 Dusenberg SJ LaGrande Dual-Cowl Dusenberg J platform vehicles were absolutely hilarious. They featured a 32-valve dual-overhead cam straight eight engine with a single up draft carburetor. They made 265HP in a world where 100HP was deemed a lot, and that was in naturally aspirated form. It was capable of 119MPH in N/A form. With a supercharger, power was bumped all the way to 320HP, 0-60 was able to be achieved in less than 8 seconds with an unsynchronized gearbox, and was capable of a top speed close to 140MPH, while reaching 104MPH in second gear. All of that with a fully boxed frame chassis and advanced (for the time) suspension, coupled with that classy 30's styling, makes it one of the most amazing cars ever created.
I can dig this. Any Ford Taunus really. Whether it's a 1939, or a 1969. I know it isn't quite "conventional" by American standards of the time, but I think it's cool.
