BTW the low poly engine is perfect. Looks like its under 500 polies, nicely optimized.

exactly why i love it as well, imo its alot better looking than any top of the line super-car today. Not overdone with curves/lines and has a very nice 'flow' to it. but hey im not into supercars and know next to nothing about them :D

    Ok. I thought I did...

Anyway, it's a quick mock up. Not actually going to use that image, just giving everyone an idea on the sort of thing I'm aiming for.

Yup. Check out the dash in an Aventador. It's screen.

Or the cheap version, in a Citroën C4. Lol.

Edit: The Huracan has a very similar dashboard, and you can find an even crazier version in the Veneno.

I think he might be referring to dashboards in BeamNG, in which case I have no idea. Ive only seen traditional gauge dashboards so far. I'll wait and see what someone else comes up with, as I don't have the coding knowledge to tackle something like this on my own.

    Edit: Typo

Oh... yeah, sure. you could make the stuff flat. Not sure about the digital part though.

Ya, I was referring to digital dash boards. I think it's been discussed before and their currently not possible, however I think Mythbuster has made a digital dash (or at least something close) that works in game.

I recently made a working digital speedometer that uses lua to move props. The only problem is that it's tedious to make since it needs 30 meshes just to display the three numbers. Another way would be with a planned feature where you could make the screen with the new GUI stuff and render into a texture. Should be easier and more versatile than using props, but I don't know when that will be possible.

I'd use a bit more polygons in the interior, at least in the parts you see most of the time when driving.

Something about the size or proportions of the car looks a bit off to me. What are the dimensions? Maybe post a side and a top projection view with grid for scale.

Sure thing. The grid is 1m x 1m

The dimensions are roughly the same as the Lamborghini Aventador.
It is kinda low to the ground if that's what you're thinking.
