Can I delete these files

    My computer is running out of space. I saw some files that were titled "cache.(version number)". If I delete these files, will it break the game?

    If its not your current version number then you will be fine. If it is then you'll still be ok, but the game will just make these files again when you relaunch, and loading times will be longer for the first time you launch a map/car.

    Anything in the backup folder is not loaded.
    It's there just because you pressed the 'Clear Cache' button, and these files are part of that cache.
    We don't delete anything, just in case you figure too late you are also accidentally removing something you need.

    You can delete that freely, if you don't need anything from there.

    Will it affect performance etc. if I delete these files?

    Again, the backup folder is ignored by the game.
    Won't affect anything, just your storage space.
