No, that would mean I have to create a non-moving softtop or cheat with dissappearing meshes. I don't like that. Maybe, it will be sent to people who participate in my modding challenge. But for people who don't participate, maybe some time after the challenge ends. But don't get your hopes up, I'm really thinking about not releasing it because I don't feel like releasing another mod for no reason.
To make it clear since you didn't really get it. I have been working on the Fintray Roadster since last year. Progress is slow, mainly because I'm doing other things as well. The FinTray joke was made by me and @SergentFido in a single weekend for April fools and is a Tray with Fins(Finnish Flags).
The video is literally titled Mount Coot-tha Link: https://www.beamng.com/resources/mount-coot-tha.7792/
Do you have any evidence for this or are you just making some random assumption based on no form of evidence whatsoever?
lol when and where did he say this? if you could actually back up what you say with something more than "uhh he said so but i can't show you it because it's supre secrettt!!!" that would be nice.
Summer 2019? I might grab my laptop and play outside with it if the weather allows it. Then it's out this summer... It won't be released this summer, unless some kind of big motivation boost and spare time surplus happens. I won't give a release date or estimate either because I don't have any schedule or planning to work on this. I make this mod in my spare time which is limited. It's not like every time I have 30 minutes I will spend it on this mod. I also have other hobbies and sometimes I want to make other mods or weird things in BeamNG as well. I'm currently changing some models and thinking about the next stage: texturing. Something I'm not looking forward to.. The behaviour of the car is almost finished, I just have to add some more limiters and update some body components because I changed the frame again... Also, since you are always off-topic, let me share something half on topic: Also, I got the chance to drive a MG Midget last week There was a tour with the MG TTO and someone was driving alone and asked me to navigate. During the lunch break he asked me if I would like to drive his MG TC. That was pretty cool, the car is RHD and I needed some time to get used to driving it. But after a while it was really easy to drive and a lot of fun It was very hot outside so the car had some trouble starting after we stopped. The winner of the tour(there were questions) got a ride with a Bourguignonne which is the oldest car of the car museum where we started. It is from 1898(100 years older than my MX-5) and it still drives. It is belt driven and has 5 speeds and no reverse. The TC and Bourguignonne
I updated the driver cam position to reflect the real life position and lowered the windscreen a bit. It was way too high. I also remodelled the floor for better deformation and looks. The dashboard doesn't have the curved shape that MG's have, I might change it or put something underneath the starter button and clock area. Maybe an ashtray. I also noticed that the body is a bit too wide, I'm thinking about redoing a few area's like the sides of the tub, fenders and the hood. AKA the whole body... Main downside is that it would take some time again, positive sides are: easier texturing(I would merge everything, change it and texture it) and a bit less odd looking car. A TD always looks odd from some angles, it looks wide but isn't, the wheels are too small for the style etc etc. You can see that here: https://artandspeed.com/vehicles/261/1951-mg-td
i'm not sure but the TD had 4 knobs on the dash and one of tem wasn't connected to anything (british engeneering for you)
