Could not initialize DX11 device

    so basically I have been trying to play this game but it keeps saying it can't initialize dx11 device even though i have dx12 installed. I have no idea what to do now as I have been trying to follow instruction from youtube and trying to install dx11 but won't work.

    like restart your computer hit your windows key then hit power the restart and after that and everything's on try relaunching the game see if that works

    What GPU do you have? The rather old state of the rest of your computer suggests it might not support dx11 at all. Even if it says it has installed dx11, it won't do anything if your computer does not support it. Try going to the game properties in steam, and selecting dx10 compatibility mode.

    Halt there.
    What you are seeing there is not referring to your video card.
    That's referring to what DirectX package the Operative System has installed / can use ideally.

    What you can actually use depends on what your Video Card supports.
    In fact the error message you are getting is saying, in short, that your hardware does not support DirectX11, hence you cannot play the game.

    Check the page below to:
    • learn how to correctly check what DirectX version your Video Card supports
    • what you can do in case your card is below the minimum requirements and is not DirectX11 compatible:
