    Hello. A little update I want to give you all about the Atlanto map. The forest part is now complete and currently I'm working on the scenarios which will be available from the next update (as said in the overview under "NOTE" section.) I hope you all are enjoying my map till now. Stay tuned for the next Atlanto update. Cheers!

    If you're talking about the in-game repository where you are unable to download then try to download the map from this website and put it in the mod folder. That may work.

    if you dont mind, im going to give a theory/explination about the myths:
    the church: this is the hardest to explain, but it is either moonlight or a lamp
    the witch: the witch is not here anymore. the witch was a murderer, and the laugh at the crack house is to scare away visitors. the murderer made the roads crappy on purpose to crash people. the murderer always wore a witch outfit to scare victims.
    the ghost car: a car enthusiast saw the witch, and tried to drive away. because the road was the worst, he crashed in the forest. the car crashed in such a way that it kept honking, the driver died on impact and was thrown in to the forest, where he decomposed.
    the blood pond: the witch aka the murderer killed 2, and threw them in a pond. because of the stab wounds, the blood came in to the pond, making it red. it glows because of the moon.
    the haunted manor: this was the house of the murderer/witch. it has red lights to scare people away, same with the laugh/scream. if anybody came to close, the murderer murdered them. although the murderer is dead, the scream and lights are still there. because the house is breaking apart, anyone who enters the blood stained house, falls through the floor, starving to death.
    well, this is my take on the myths, thanks for reading

    thanks, when i saw that the witch and body bags may have been connected, i started to thank about that, and it all fell in to a place (exept the church). glad you liked it.

    The manor, has this do with the new update, that your car gest lifted into the air once you get close? I couldn't help myself but recreate the first Resident evil by driving up a STAR van to it and it happened. Also, every other car got lifted up as well, even thought they weren't near the manor

    well, more explaining. first up, i love this map, and i think it is among the most unique maps, and i dont want to take the creepiness away with this, but add an extra layer, why the myths exist.
    first up: the souls in the graveyard. i think this is related to will-o-wisps. as Wikipedia says it: While urban legends, folkore, and superstition typically attribute will-o'-the-wisps to ghosts, fairies, or elemental spirits, modern science often explains them as natural phenomena such as bioluminescence or chemiluminescence, caused by the oxidation of phosphine (PH3), diphosphane (P2H4), and methane (CH4) produced by organic decay.
    next up, the blood pond. the new effect could be because of the smell of blood driving people crazy, compbined with the decomposing bleeding bodies, i would also go insane.
    the ferry, is just that an abandoned ferry, not found.
    the forest sounds. this could be a lot, broken pipes, or most likely, animals in a sewer.
    the haunted house. well, still the same, but i cant explain it throwing you, maybe it is a shockwave, or wind, or an illusion, i dont know.
    good job on the map and keep it up :)

    My man. You have researched so much. I like the way you explain the myths using scientific and other logical reasons, but you do in respectful manner. Yeah, the ferry is just abandoned and I have written in the description like how the ships were abandoned in real world. for ex: MS world discoverer in Solomon Islands.

    Mini Update: After thinking a little bit, I've decided to remove the ferry from the "MYTHS" section. It was obviously a silly decision from my side and include a abandoned structure in the MYTHS part. So, consider it as a normal ferry sailing near the island for now.
