I tried to make it custom but I overestimated my jbeaming skills now i'm just gonna use some modified d series jbeam--- Post updated --- Hey everyone, I want your opinion, since I am going to rebadge as a old Gavril do you think that I should make this a separate vehicle or make it share the same vehicle slot as the d series or something?
Make it a separate vehicle as hardly any of it is Gavril D-Series at all. --- Post updated --- Just a slightly modified jbeam.
Sorry to burst your bubble but this won't be allowed on the repository since the model isn't made from scratch. I'm not sure if there is a possibility that this can go on the repo with proper credits but that's just my thinking.
You have to have perms specifically for reupload for usage on the repo afaik. (credit is needed too but thats obvious)
it wont be canceled, progress is just slow because I have stuff going on --- Post updated --- Also I plan on making something like this as a different configuration
That's a big issue for a lot of modders that i've seen. Often they make, say, an offroad burnside, and they make it a separate vehicle and other times they make a completely different car and put it in the same car they based it off. In my opinion it should be like this: If it's a variant of that release of the car, like a special edition of the car or a modification (like an offroad version), it goes in the same car, but if its a different release of the car, like a facelifted version that is supposed to have been released in a different year, it goes in a different car (look at the two pessimas for example) So this? this wouldn't be with the D-series. Even if it's a classic d-series its not the same release so it should go in its own car, or at least i think so Also the car looks beautiful and i damn hope they allow it on the repo with credit and all or i'm gonna start a crusade :U Also if you need any help with 3D modelling anything since i see you seem to struggle with that (guessing since you used someone else's model and also a modified jbeam, maybe you dont struggle and im just stoopid xD), I can help out, I'm a 3D modeller even if not too good (I started recently) just throwing it out there in case you want help Looking forward to drive and crash this beauty! >
Ok thanks for the feedback I appreciate it As for modeling, I could use some help, I know how to model but I’m just slow at it and that’s why I chose a premade model. I usually try and model it myself like the flareside bed. Also I’m currently in the process of jbeaming I’ll pm you about the modeling if I need help i still need to model some taillights and small stuff
That looks good Does it have a costume jbeam? Have you planned a camper upfit and a costume towhitch?
This is looking quite nice actually. Now, with the using of dseries jbeams, thats not really the worst thing, as long as its edited properly, it can actually work well. Looking good so far.
