Okay wow. Did not expect that to randomly show up. Hirochi Raceway looks amazing!

And this part seems to be completely new here:

I don't think there is a piece of track that is this high up, is there?
Maybe I'm just dumb... But I'm sure I haven't seen this before...

 

I think that's the part of the track just before the long downhill curve and just after the first long straight on the full circuit IIRC.

I'm pretty sure it's right here on the map (I could be wrong though )

I never realized that it was that high up. Probably because of the trees, which are now gone.
Anyhow, there still is a huge amount of map space that is not at all used, this would be the perfect opportunity to add some more to Hirochi Raceway...

This is offtopic, but is anyone aware of why Dwall was banned?

 

Who?

 

A user by the name of Dwall... More than likely that wasn't their first account, and actually is a very notorious user who likes to start projects to farm ratings and attention then immediately moves on to another one. Half of the projects are mostly meshslaps using stolen models, with a very select few being original work.

This user claims to be an adult professional 3D artist, but when skills are displayed they're more reminiscent of an amateur.

I wasn't entirely convinced Dwall was this certain user, however the moderators must have figured otherwise... Or is the alt account of another banned member.

I love that Hirochi Raceway is getting an update! I was just hotlapping it a couple of days ago and realized how dated it looks compared to the WCUSA racetrack and the Automation Facility, what with all the simple billboards and lack of props...

 

I wouldn't say it's outdated just in a closed state.

 

Not at all, but visually it's nowhere near the level of quality of some of the newer maps, so it's good to see the old maps get a refresh.

Now only if they were to bring back Dry Rock Island, which actually is outdated...

 

dry rock island is still downloadable but I will say the map was pretty awesome and I'd' like to see it back in the game
