It's interesting how bumper covers and big plastic fascias and headlights can take a significant impact and still look somewhat correctly arranged and put together while significant structural damage lies below.
They bend end of the day, radiator and air con were both leaking, airbag warning light was on and sure enough while it was on the truck the airbags finally went off
That's probably what wrote it off. I keep being told by a friend who does insurance work about his recent projects. He's repaired some pretty bad stuff, but if the airbags have gone he won't touch it.
Seems pretty safe. I've seen that it's procedure for first responders to cut the battery cables to prohibit delayed airbag deployment.
Haven't posted here in a long time, I've started to drive the bronco and even though it's slow it's pretty fun, probably because its a stick and all the torque comes in at 2,000 RPM. My dad and I recently put new horns in, just a cheap pair off amazon, I have to recharge the AC with RED TEK R12a ProSeal and some R12 I have in my basement because an R134a retrofit is extremely expensive for the bronco. I also have to fix my steering wheel being upside down, install a steering stabilizer, and install some subwoofers we have that have built-in amps. relatively recent pic of the truck
300cuin is 4.9L. 302cuin is also 4.9L You can see why Ford rounded that up to 5. Funny since the six banger made more torque below 3,000RPM.

Pulled the fault code causing a CEL on my Jeep. Code P1398 Jeep: Misfire Adaptive Numerator at Limit Condition So, either I A) ripped the wires out of the crankshaft position sensor when I blew that tire, or B) there's low compression on a cylinder. Let's hope it's the former.
Tried something with electrical tape worked out surprisingly well now its time to find someone who can make it properly (Not with electrical tape obviously)
I agree, but its cheaper than getting a professional wrap/paint if you just want to experiment. I wouldn't leave plasti-dip on a car for more than a week, not that I have ever put any on my cars.
probably gonna use car foil for it shouldnt be to hard to do. Another thing i just noticed on my car that it officially only can have 70db wich is nothing the 90hp fabia of my sister is allowed to be louder than my car
The thing is from my sisters car are driving around 50 around here and from mine like 2 or 3. Also sadly you cant make it louder here in germany because if the police notices theyll take your car
