My house has an old macbook pro running OSX El Capitan (cant upgrade :( ) And After YEARS of not being used, I decide to bring it out. The screen is out of place but the mac works perfectly (except all the bluetooth pop-ups) And it`s much quieter than my gaming computer. With writing this on the mac I was talking about, it`s still pretty fast, unlike my trashy old windows pc. This model is surprisingly fast for an old 2009 macbook pro.

well a few days later bestbuy gave the computer back to me for some reason, they told me that the laptop did act strange they tried to fix it, i booted it up and all my data was gone. I had found out they had replaced the hard drive i am not sure. But the CPU went back up somehow. Paranormal and strange, any awnser to this?

It’s a mac. They’re made to break so you have to get a new one every few years

I will say, the Unibody MacBooks are surprisingly resilient computers... The biggest complaint I can think of is the slow Mechanical HDDs... Throw a SSD and 16GB of ram in and you have a powerful machine.
