So I'm looking for a new GPU around $300-350.

I prefer 3gb memory and high bit rate.

    Any idea or recommendations.

Im looking at a 660 ti or a HD 7950.

I kinda wat to go with a NVIDIA card for the reason of Phyx (or whatever its called) in a lot of games and AMD cars run shit on those sort of games.

    Let me know.

    Thanks

In my opinion go with the 7950, the higher frame buffer will make the card a more viable option even when games get bigger as the details wont fill it up as quick, once a frame buffer limit is reached the FPS will drop dramatically. but the Physx as you said is a pro from the 660ti.

The way I see it is If you will have the card long term (2+years) go for the 7950, if you'll swap again soon get the 660 Ti :)

Isn't that a Barts card? As a previous owner and with experience with multiple barts based cards they are not that bad really. A little dated now maybe. Anyway, yeah, 7950 seems like a good route, the games really add value, its kinda ridiculous.
