Car tuning and engine moddin

gamemodes sound better then career.

 

Yeah, I won't mind those as separate things you could do if you want, might be fun to do in fact,but the main point needs to be a driving simulator with realistic damage.

 

See I think a career mode would be sweet as hell if you do it right. Like the SLRR career. But also have sandbox mode and like other gamemodes and such. Why not have a career mode it just adds in more options to play and more people could choose what they want to play.

 

Because that would waste developer's time for a really junky game mode...

 

Well... Sorry to say this but, career mode is already planned, and I like the idea. There should be a career mode, whoever doesn't like it, just don't play it. It shouldn't not have career mode because some people doesn't want it, I'm sure there are TONS of people out there that wants a career mode.

 

I for sure want a career mode.

 

The career mode isn't a cutscene thing and storytelling.
And I think one of the devs said they want to do cargo delivery too.

 

Just as long as it's not required, I don't care about it, I just won't play it.

 

I think it would be fun if the carreer incorporated a lot of get from A to B without completely wrecking your car challenges.

I play ror all day and don't get bored. maybe have both a objective mode and a free roam?

 

That was the plan all the way along. Wasn't it quite obvious that in a game which originated from destruction; you get destruction?

I actually get bored of RoR because there is so much things to do, but yet there is no objective to it, this would be good for a roleplay, but roleplay wouldn't work.

 

Exactly and that's where career mode comes into affect. It gives you something to do, otherwise the game would get boring. Also you could roleplay but you would need multiplayer which would be a bitch for this game because of ping and lag issues and also syncing the physics over the network which would cause lag. Roleplaying would be cool though, such as you put your car in the ditch and you need to get it out so you call a friend who has a truck and he pulls it out . Haha just an idea

I know gabester wants to have a delivery type of thing, where you have cargo and you get deduced money/score when you destroy it (take 18 Wheels of steel as an example), not sure if there will be any moving cargo/loose or just trailer and truck.
I think you will have to repair your vehicle in some sort of garage. Not too sure but there might be a race, to go with the deliveries, but I can't remember if gabester said anything on it.

 

Delivery sounds good. I'd also like to see towing mode, maybe one car towing another one ahaha

 

Yea towing sounds cool. Id like a race or time trail rally race or something in that degree. Also I hope you have to buy new parts for your car (SLRR style) not drive it into a garage and pay money (Pay N Spray style) haha.
