Oh hey, Im still alive. Anyways, life update aside I kinda broke off from BeamNG, just because of rough patches in life. Shit happens, I know. Either way, Ill try to do shit and sort shit out.
Incoming update. The file has been sent for approval and the mod should be up within the week. Keep an eye out until then. In addition, I'll be announcing commissions and how things will be with those once the approval drops.
Oh boy, that's not good. Give me a couple hours to get to my computer and fix the mod page. Once I do that I'll announce spots for commissions.
Okay so I've just fixed the thumbnails on the mod page, that should be working by now. Also, not even a day into the mod being updated, I've gotten a request in the reviews. Damn you guys are fast. Speaking of requests, Commissions are now open! Five slots are now open for the next two months until the next update These will be issued one per person on a first come, first serve basis so make sure to get your's in first. Should you want a skin to be made, here is the format: - The character - The show/game/series/franchise - The car - Any additional specifications - Reference images of other cars Commission Slots: - [open slot] - [open slot] - [open slot] - [open slot] - [open slot] As a note, do try to choose two characters at the very most or the whole show for the skin. It's rather difficult to show equal 'love' for multiple characters on a single car and having all the characters is the only next best thing in my opinion. I also ask that you guys know that I'm currently starting to fill more in Sunburst and 200BX skins in comparison to the other cars. While this may or may not be an issue (it's a matter of opinion) I feel that this is causing a lack of variety in cars for my skin pack.
Just to note: The Senko itasha wont be included in Maka's pack. It's one of my own, that will hopefully be released soon(TM). I'm working at the best of my capabilities to make sure the pack doesnt have any unwanted bugs before release, while on my very tight schedule.
Oh, I didn't knew that. Then maybe makaphin could make a Senko skin for a Sunburst or 200BX. edit: wait, there is Ami from Toradora, but no Taiga? This must be a bug.
I feel like making a skin someone already made is a bit redundant (looking at SOPMOD, UMP45) also, one skin request per person, let alone three
So I don't know why I didn't mention this when the 4th update was released, but most of the text is mirrored on one side of the Kaito Bolide skin. Also, loving the new skins this update! Great job! --- Post updated --- So, uh, question... Will the commissioned skins be added to the pack or are they just for private/public use? And follow-up question, can we request our own characters? (Also, do we have to post the requests here or can they be PM'ed to you?)
Aw crap. Yeah, I'll get that fixed. As for your questions. Most skins that have been requested/made by me have been included in the pack. Current exceptions are the LKS skin (I forget what I put on there), the Gravedigger Loli skin, and a birthday gift I made for Lamzumi (not sure if he will put that one up). I will put every itasha skin I make into the pack unless it's requested otherwise, is on a modded car, or is too nsfw to pass approval. While I've done mostly characters from existing anime, I can do OCs (ie. Lam's OC). It will just be a little harder for me to get themeing and some visual jokes onto the car. Requests can be sent through anywhere as long as I get it. If you don't want your request public, you can do it through PM, or DM through Discord Just know that requesting a skin proper will take up a commission slot.
The Mirrored text can also be what's in currently in J-Style liveries, they dont bother making the text readable. Like Ken Nomura's Blitz ER34 Skyline
It just occured to me that most Japanese people can't read English anyway, so they don't bother to reverse the text. Funny how English text on cars for them is like Japanese text on cars for us. That's actually the idea behind the reversed text on the Koneko car, but since the one who requested it complained, I changed it. The UV grid was an accident. But since the Kaito car is a 'proper' race car, I think I'll get to fixing that once the next update drops.
