Yes, you're still better off farming skeletons (you can get some shiny loot from that as a byproduct as well) but I have seen some efficient fox-powered bone meal farms.

Anyway, I feel like I should address the whole "minecraft good fortnite bad" meme: Both games must have their merits for so many people to play them. I know which one I'd rather play, but I don't think it's fair to shit on people just for their choice of games.

(That said, if you're cringe about it, you might earn some "constructive feedback" from me, but there are some cringe people on both sides here. Doesn't mean everyone who plays one game or another is an elitist snob/hyperactive zoomer - those types can be found in any community anyway.)

Also there's the time I tried to floss and ended up knocking a bunch of stuff over and hitting my nuts, lol. Never trying that again

Well, I was going to hate on fortnite some, since I personally don't like it, but what you said is true.

It's okay to criticize the game itself, though. Fortnite lacks creativity and Minecraft needs an underground update. I also think Minecraft needs some kind of late-game magma sponge to help navigate the Nether and make mining safer. There are actually caves underneath the lava sea, but they're also full of lava!

I sure do agree on that underground update. One of AntVenom's video is for that topic, I sure do agree on that, plus I don't know what the hell is in fortnite, and why do people like it, though that is still my opinion, so don't go crazy on me for saying that, do whatever the hell you want.

A small note on Steam friendship requests:

I only add people who I recognise. If I don't recognise the name, I will try and search for any form of evidence*, but if none exists, I will ignore the friendship request.

*I will check steam profile (profile description, comments, friends in common, past aliases etc), google your name, search BeamNG forums etc. So even if its not super easy to find, I will make an effort to look.

There is one thing that is very dangerous to society that I would like to talk about: shitty science reporting. I recently read the worst study I have ever seen. A recent observational study of Chinese adults examined their diets and dementia rates and purported to correlate spicy food with a higher risk of dementia.

The problem? The study did not control for anything and there were obvious factors (income, access to education and healthcare, possible correlation between wealth and less spicy diet, etc) that would need to be investigated for the study to draw any conclusion. And yet, the headline I saw in my news feed - "Mild sauce, clear mind? Study links spicy food intake to dementia" or something along those lines - jumped to a conclusion when the evidence simply did not exist.

Scientific literacy needs to become a mandatory subject in high school. Read past the headlines, read the news article and read the paper itself, or at least the abstract. This is another reason that open-access publishing needs to become the standard, so the public can keep themselves informed. In the meantime, never just read the headline! If the article is interesting or concerning to you, read it and follow the evidence!

Scientists say 90% of people believe a fact to be true if it is told by a scientist.

I am so sick of how often impatient drivers expect people to run red lights and make left turns on red through busy intersections. Just earlier today someone got impatient behind me at a red light, started blasting the horn, then pulled into oncoming traffic and Mr Magoo'd it through the busy intersection. The light immediately changed and I ended up infront of them again by the next light. Seems like every time I leave the house something like this happens near me...

That's all I have to rant about for now.

Welp, the National EAS Test was a miserable failure, at least where I live. This audio message was supposed to play:
...but all we got was the three NNNN bursts immediately after the attention tone, and those didn't even sound right, they were a stuttering mess. In the event of a real national emergency (nuclear attack, supervolcano eruption, feral hog invasion, etc.), we would have been quite simply fucked.

Overall it was a bit of a bruh moment.

I don't think we have a comprehensive national alert system in the UK. But if something does happen, and you happen to be watching TV or listening to the radio, they can put out an emergency broadcast on less than 10mins via the BBC.

It worked okay when I heard it play on the radio, although it did sounded a bit more churned than it should.

Also, Firefox's html5 player is ass. I get horrific video stuttering on Windows and slightly less awful stuttering on Linux. In both cases I am using an Nvidia graphics card. Chrome/Chromium works fine. Does anyone know how to fix this?
