WIP Covet Champion

yeah this is a thing. I am making this forum post for the covet ute I have been working on recently.

I will post updates here and then will put it in as a resource on the mods page.

are 4x4 and awd variants a possibility? such as a subaru brat in example

I mean, the Subaru BRAT was based off of the Subaru Leone, so this isn't too far-fetched...

 

If anyone has any suggestions I would be glad to consider them

 

Will it have a openable tailgate?

I think the bed is just slightly too long, and there's no tapering done to the overhang to mitigate the clearance issues. Here's a quick Photoshop I did that makes the Champion more similar in proportions to a 1983 Subaru BRAT:

I actually think that the long bed looks nicer, even if it doesn't match a real life counterpart (sorta.) To each their own, though.
