Update Speculation thread

Well the Bluebuck was Shown on Video, SO i think it will be out. If it was not the Devs will of told us by now ( i think )

 

The devs know better than to tease a car that's not coming in the next major update. Bluebuck is basically confirmed.

 

if they don't include it in this update then I'd assume a large part of the community would be angry

 

When was it teased?

If was only in the distance of where it was teased, could it not be a moonhawk or barstow?

Why would they put a Moonhawk/Barstow in the background of a teaser for the Bluebuck? And the body certainly was not a car currently in game.

Oh, I just noticed the Bluebuck in the other (bluebuck suspension test) video. That is definitely a bluebuck

 

Yep. the big Wreckfest update and console release.Other than that and the 17th of the month I am at a total loss
for any fancy release date tie in's. Should be this month at least by god.

 

This is a Barstow, the same make and model as the car in front of it.

 

The Bluebuck had 2 legit teasers:

One with a rolling chassis (confirming that it drives and is an X frame) driving over the bumps where a more complete one drives slowly in the distance, but mostly hidden.

And another that's an interior shot driving over smaller bumps that also virtually confirms it's getting hydraulics.

I'd be shocked if they released two legit teasers right before an update, and didn't include it in said update.

 

If you include the temporary thumbnail tease that makes it 3. (as it implies that thumbnail is no longer needed)

I'd honestly be pretty surprised (and disappointed) if it's not in the next update.

 

Think of the Autobello, guys.

I believe the Bluebuck is coming along with the rest of the map updates in 0.18

 

So what is coming in this update lol

 

ECA, Hirochi Raceway and Derby updates, as well as changes to some vehicles and bug fixes, as usual.....

 

I must admit it will be a bit odd for the update to contain, well, mainly just updates, rather than new content... although this is *technically* new content? It’s a weird line to draw

 

I would be really dissapointed if the devs will only release the updated ECA, Derby, and Hirochi.

 

I disagree. The Piccolina was delayed only because Italy wasn't finished.

As the plan was to release them together it had to be pushed back another 3 or so months.

There is no reason for the Blueback to not be released this update based on the teasers we have been given. (Although more configs may come in 0.18)

 

At this point in time we are discussing if the Bluebuck will come in the next update. I personally feel like it might. Judging by the amount if teasers, and how finished the interior looked, it wouldn't be to far off. Just look at the Wenward DT40L. The first shot of it we got was the interior, and after getting an image from a website, we concluded it would come in the next major update. Just because the Autobello did it, it doesn't mean the Bluebuck does it. (Also, the Autobello and several other cars have been shipped with maps, so...)
