The bluebuck is coming in the next update!

 

this made me think. will we see a burnside config. like a more luxurious config and maybe a rebadge. we got burnside, why not use it?

 

Don’t forget about the flashing highbeams.

 

I'm not going to boycott AI driving, AI driving is ok as long as human driving is allowed.
The update is more likely to happen the next friday. I guess.

The screenshot of GTA SA make me think... Where is convertible bubu ? If it isn't in this update i hope that a courageous modder will do it !

 

That's a good point, I don't think convertible bad bubu will be in the game but at the same time its probably not hard to mod it

 

I understand disliking driverless cars because they might make actually driving vehicles frowned upon. However, from a safety standpoint, I would trust modern AIs much more than some of the drivers I've seen on the roads recently.

Honestly, I'm a fan of modern techno. Make of that what you will.

Back on topic, it's still possible that Port, Industrial Site, and Small Island are getting updates. Perhaps, if the updates are limited to new models and textures, the devs don't consider the change significant enough to warrant mention.

 

As quoting the 0.15 devblog post

This means that thoses updates will most likely be applied to these new remastered maps, improving detail and fps.

 

Most of the maps left to remaster need a lot of work, those will probably be in 0.18. Port and Industrial could be put back together (probably should, even if it would mess with backwards compatibility), and small island/JRI, well... yeah...

Judging by the comment TDK made on sounds recently, we probably won't see any until the sound engine gets some improvements, aside from the Hopper which is a completely removable roof rather than typical convertible anyway.

 

I would trust too, only if I could manually take control at any time, in case of unexpected AI behavior. If the pilot was not aboard at Qantas Flight 72, hundreds of lives would be lost.

 

The Bluebuck will have both a 2 door and 4 door body style, going by the trailer
