hmm, I wonder if the hydraulics will be available for the moonhawk and the Barstow as well.

 

Based off the video it looks like 90's pessma and Burnside will get them

 

I think the other cars were just for staging purposes, your typical ‘cool’ car meet.

 

Im going to make a little confession guys...
The Bluebuck is definitively not my type of car. But im quite sure ill get some enjoyment out of it anyway. Specially as soon as someone turns it to a Station Wagon.
Excelent work by the team anyway, i cant wait for the update.

 

Wish they would include a Bluebuck config based on the Impala from Roadkill... 900hp with an open diff would definitely be fun

 

i got that Christmas feel when i opend up twitter and i saw the bluebuck, jumping out at me

 

I was under the impression that they shied away from convertibles because not having a roof makes the whole "invisible driver" thing much more obvious.

 

The orange car in the last scene reminds me of the General Lee. I can't wait for this update! My prediction is that it will be released in the next few days before this weekend.

It looks so good it is one of the best cars in a beamng update.

 

I would say before Ai gets worked on, lets just make sure that the ai knows where it can drive, because most maps need a way better node system, and then try to make sure that the ai doesnt kill itself when bumping into you, tree or other objects that won't flinch when a car hits them.

I cant wait for 0.17. The Bluebuck may not be my cup of it, but it is a nice addition, and im quite sure im going to end up enjoying it. im far more excited for the updated maps. Specially ECUSA.

 

I am absolutely overjoyed. I've waited so long for this. I can definitely see that the devs took our anticipation of the Bluebuck to heart and channeled that anticipation into it.

I see now what Stoat meant about the Bluebuck. Just the fact alone that it's going to be available as both a sedan and a coupe is amazing. Now I'm hoping the devs will do the same with the Wendover. I'd love to see the Wendover sedan still be available alongside the coupe.

And (what I assume to be) the drag racer is probably going to be the only place where I will be perfectly fine with the whole "BuBu" thing.

 

Well someone commented on the Soliad and platform sharing in something that got deleted, so in response to that...

IIRC LeGran and Wendover should share the drivetrain, but the Wendover will be bigger. For some people the drivetrain is enough for them to be too similar to justify. Personally I'm fine with that but IMO the Wendover really should be visually bulked up a bit to look different. As is it'll look like a LeGran that ate too many potato chips and had the rear doors bondo'd over.

As for platform sharing, it's just one of many methods that are recource friendly ways to bolster the car list. Adding more body styles is another, which the Bluebuck will thankfully do. Aside from the D-Series/Roamer, I know the K-Series and 800-Series are mechanically similar, not sure if they are the same platform or not.

 

Since my original post got deleted for responding to Raceboy, how about we not keep this meme alive any longer. I've been waiting for this car for over 4 years and will not have it tarnished by a meme that was only half funny in the first place.

I think the Wendover is going to be a bit too big for that platform IMO. While the LeGran is midsize, the Wendover is going to be fullsize... I even think i read somewhere it was going to be rear wheel drive instead of front wheel drive. but, dont quote me on that.

I just want to see more cars added into the game either way. As for body styles, i think that is one of the missing features of this game. All the cars are missing variants. The I-Series is missing both a Coupe and a Wagon, the 800 is missing its sedan and coupe variants, the LeGran is missing its Coupe and Wagon variants (and even a Minivan if you look at it the K-Car kind of way).
