Update Speculation thread

Like I said I think this thread needs to be locked until the update drops. Since people can't control themselves. Some temp ban's may be needed to be handed out as well but that's not my call.

 

I hope the Wendover will be available in Coupe and Sedan versions, but since no comparable fullsize cars were available as Coupes I think it should take some inspiration from the 1st generation W-Platform (Regal, Grand Prix, Lumina, Cutlass Supreme) and the model years could go from the late 80s to mid 90s.

 

I think you misunderstood my post. I'm still (sort of) fine with applying this meme to the Bluebuck, I just don't want it to become a thing that happens with every single car (especially the Wendover, even if "sadlad" fits pretty well with Gabester's description of it.)

 

okay look, the difference between calling the Vanster the H-Series and calling the gavril bluebuck the gaga bubu is even the devs have said that you should stop calling the gavril bluebuck the gaga bubu. If you need an alternative you can call it any number of abbreviations such as the Blue, the buck, the gavril B, the Bluebuck, or any number of different things. The reason people don't like gaga bubu is the fact that it just sounds like baby talk.

 

For whatever reason I haven't found any of this stuff funny, but I really did laugh upon reading the contents of those parenthesis.

Might be refering to Nadeox's post which really just said "enough with the nonsense posting" which got to a full page at that point, nothing about full on stopping the nickname.

 

Just the fact that Diamondback tried erasing the source should say enough, and nadeox has said multiple times that it's old and irritating. I provided substitutes and a whole load people would enjoy it if people in general wouldn't use gaga bubu.

Edit: IDFC what people call it. They can call it Blue Deer for all I care. People are just crying over split milk and letting the trolls get to their heads. This thread needs to be temporally locked due to this BS.

Edit part 2: Removing where Bubu came from makes it more likely to appear and cause more problems. This is true for most "memes". The reason why people are keeping Bubu alive is because people who get triggered easily get pissed and some people find it funny. You want people to stop saying then. DON'T ENCOURAGE THEM. Let it die out and the less people who talk about it the faster it dies.
Edit part 3: I found it funny and still do but I have not used Bubu outside 3 post replying to it's existence and the Drag version of the bluebuck is call Big Bubu.

It's got me riding down grove street. It's been 5 years since I screwed everything up.

 

Part of me still really wants to call it that in that video series I'm planning... if I ever make it that is... still gotta learn to use clutch + H-shifter with my G27 which I've historically been bad at... and also need to finish my giant compendium of BeamNG's greatest driving roads so people can help pick which ones to use...

Also, isn't there already an official roll-back tow truck in BeamNG or am I thinking of a mod?

 

Rollback T-Series is in game, the D-Series tow truck has had a mesh for awhile now, along with controls and the push bar in game for ages.

Speaking of the wendover, I wonder if there'll be a luxury spec "by civetta" version, like the maserati TC.

 

That could be interesting. I would imagine it to use a tuned N/A 3.3 or 3.8 V6, with a slushy automatic to guarantee it's never actually in it's powerband.

 

I like that idea but I think it would be better for an official LeGran coupe variant - the LeGran is already a K-car with a Ciera interior.

Anyway, I have plans for the Bluebuck. I am going to make several trim levels. I will need to learn some basic skin making techniques in order to change some of the trim. Here is my idea:

• Gavril 1000: The entry-level model with body-colored window trim and no tachometer available. Only black steel wheels with hubcaps are available, and no bucket seats. On the other hand, it can be had with any engine you want, but the three-on-the-tree manual or 2-speed auto are the only transmissions available.
  
• Gavril Bluebuck: Available bucket seats and body colored wheels with hubcaps. Chrome window trim. All engines are available, and big-block V8's come with up to a floor-shifted 4-speed manual and are bundled with a tachometer.
• Roadsport: Adds Alder Magnum wheels, more aggressive Plus-Trak diff, bucket seats, floor-mounted shifter, tachometer, 4-bbl carburetor and police suspension to any Gavril fullsize.
  
• "Grand Marshal": Introduced in late 1964. Corinthian leather seats, buckets up front, extra chrome on the sides, tachometer, vinyl roof or two-tone paint job, 353 or 423 with either a 3-speed auto or four-on-the-floor.
• "Bandit Package": Hardtop coupe only. Bucket seats, Alder Magnum wheels, any V8 you like with a 4-bbl carb and four-on-the-floor shifter, aggressive Plus-Trak diff, tachometer, police suspension, body-colored window trim and no extra chrome. Spun off into its own model in 1965, later renamed "Barstow" when a Gavril Bandit was involved in a high-profile bank robbery.

 

I just hope that destructible fence is actually part of the map.
