So this is gonna be an odd one, but I'm trying to make variants of the automatics for the Bluebuck that have gear whine (just for me, don't intend to release it). I've gone through and gotten the jbeam done and added the gearWhineCoefs data under the ratios as I believe they should be, but they do not whine (and they do show up in game as they should and function fine other than whine). I'm honestly not sure if you can even get whine outside of manuals/sequentials since I could not find documentation on it, but if it is actually possible and someone wants to take a crack at it, the jbeam is attached.

Was gear whine for Manual gearboxes added in the latest update?

I didn't recall reading it in the latest devblogs.

Ah I thought so. I was hoping to see it implemented officially in 0.17, surprised to see it wasn't included.

Yup, manuals had it at the same time as sequentials, just not used atm other than for reverse.

    add ”gearWhineCoef”:[1,0,1,1,1,1,1,1] for a 6-speed (count the 1s). change a 1 to a 2 to double the whine, 0.5 to half it
