I believe its quite strong for an X-frame, I remember reading in early posts on this tread that gabester was wanting to make it quite beefy and not like 59 impala weak, somewhere across the imperial frame and some of the GM frames, but like all X's it is very fragile 50 mph's and above but below that it is a strong frame

It is pretty decent in front/rear collisions but it does like to crumple if anything happens to the sides. This is completely fine with me but if this is the case I would like the supposed Beaufort (if it’s even a planned vehicle anymore) to be like a tank.

nothing beats an Imperial frame, but even then we have a fair few large American cars, even though the moonhawk is mid size it's still big, and if its still planned I would not be surprised if it turned into a 70's eco warrior disaster (pinto)

It's off-topic but we need something pre-war and french, maybe Citroën Traction Avant.

No, we just got a barge, it would make more sense to get something different before that.

How about putting the tachometer inside or on top of the gauges cluster when we select the sport gauges option instead of putting it in the center console? Having the tach at center console is not very useful as we can't really see it when we are driving.

as an option it would be cool, however I noticed that you can't have a manual console shifter at all, it is either a floor or tree setup. Its odd to have a Roadsport with a colume shifter yet have all bucket seats and center console with a tacho in it

IIRC, 4 speed manual with column shifter is quite rare on American cars indeed. However I've been on 2nd gen Toyota Hiace and that thing came with 4 speed manual with column shifter.

Check out the new redline tires and colourable interiors available with the hotfix!

The quality of updates just keeps going up - this car has nearly every wishlist item I wanted to see I wanted to see during development, and some more besides!

I’m assuming a skin will get modded and put on a modified police variant in the near future. However idk if there’s a skin template.

DAMN!. This car is fun to drive put some good tires on 'er about 500 N/A HP. geared to near 190 mph. Handles surprisingly well with all heavy duty suspension components. takes Hirochi, and the drag strip by storm. This may be my favorite vehicle since the D-series.

Only issue I have is: Though I do understand, and saw before I read about it, that the Bluebuck has a X frame, which has it's own weaknesses. The car feels a bit weak vs what I've seen and been through with older vehicles from the 1960's and 1970's(Then again so do the Barstow and Moonhawk). Seems like the frame/body could use some strengthening.

Still, B.A. car and well made! Keep up the good work! Would love to see a small size pickup like based off a GMC Sonoma or Chevy S10 of the early 1990's to go along with the D-series(styling-wise and such).

From my limited understanding of 1950's/1960's automobile frames: Bluebuck is a traditional X frame:
strong in front impacts but terrible in side impacts. Hybrid X/ladder frames like the Imperial are nearly indestructable though.

Yes. and not long after that post I've done more testing, and it does even without a rollcage crash more like what I might expect the Barstow or even more-so the Moonhawk to crash (reguarding front and rear impacts). Thing is if the X frame does indeed have better front/rear impacts. Seems perhaps it should do even better, and the Moonhawk/Barstow should perform more like the Bluebuck currently does with front/rear impacts.

As I stated in that other post, from my experience the older cars seem a bit weaker then they should be. Less safety is one thing(I can understand that), but for having no crumple zones the front and rear crush far more then they should vs newer and other old/older cars(rather then like the Iron Juggernauts they are. Still at least if they don't strengthen them to a more realistic state, at least the Bluebuck has a bit more strength then the others I've stated.
