Awesome! I’ll be there at Hirochi Raceway too. I’m thinking about getting a Sunburst. That may sound odd, because I just finished my Pessima build, but then Pessima is having some serious issues, namely with the suspension and cooling. The radio is broken, fuel gauge is incorrect, and the valve cover is beginning to rust, too. Don’t get me wrong- Pessimas are usually super reliable- but the engine donor Pessima and the Pessima I bought both had a lot of miles. I’m lucky that I can afford a Sunburst- I still have some funds from my business in Italy (the hurricane made me dissolve the business), my FBI work pays well, and my paycheck from Firwood cafe isn’t bad either. Only thing is- I’m not exactly “rich”, so buying a Sunburst could potentially mess up my finances a bit. I’m still chewing it over.
A race at the raceway tommorow... I know they improved safety, so thats good. I guess I need a racecar if I want to join in...
Today I went to some dried up creek bed's around Firwood to test out the Hopper and the Hopper's been holding up so far. Although It does like to make a clicking sound whoever it's in 4WD Lo so I will look into that. other than that It's pretty fun and if your not careful you can roll it!
Hmmm, clicking sound in 4-Lo. Maybe a bad front axle shaft U-joint? Or if it's specifically 4-Lo and not just 4WD in general, something in the transfercase? --- Post updated --- Today's day at work was eventful. I was on fire watch duty up in the fire tower and I thought I spotted a large amount of smoke so I headed over to the sawmill and radioed in to the fire station about it. Turns out a truck they had picking up some lumber "ran away" and caught fire in a spectacular manner. At this point, the fire department had arrived and I was able to head back to the watchtower.
*arrives at hirochi raceway* "man this looks different" *checks pessima* "well, i have fixed the brake issue, so this should be fine, and since safety was increased, there wont be a fatal accident" *does test lap* "it drives as it should"
So I am thinking about selling my truck since I'm able to use my forest service truck for everything I need. If anyone is interested, make me an offer. If not, it will most likely be posted on the Selling Cars thread with more details. Anyway, the important stuff is that it's a '94 4WD D25 with the 5.5L and a manual. It has 123K miles and next to no rust (rare for a Northern vehicle like itself).
bought this Bluebuck for $5000, sure it's only the 4-door inline 6, but it should have went for at least $7000, judging that it's freshly restored. I won't have it for long, just want to spice it up a bit then sell it for a profit.

Uhh I hope whoever drove up there is okay.. dunno how that happened I was just walking bye and happen to look up and notice this, anyone know when this happened?
