It's mix of silesian voivodeship tbh. Mostly northern/mid parts of it. I can say it's generic polish countryside. Places mostly from Lubliniec/Częstochowa to Bytom. Once I made list of all places with photos and links to maps.
Some more progress. I have been able to tame the car down a bit (adjusted camber progression geometry, as well as steering), as a result, the car can understeer under certain circumstances. But it isn't too bad, and for the road versions, is probably justifiable. As a result, all models have become easier to drive, the rally version especially. Rally Model: RWD, 2.5l V6, Naturally Aspirated, 287hp, 314Nm, 7800rpm The above was recorded with an xbone controller, with ESC,TCS disabled. I still need to test and improve it with a steering wheel to make sure it still feels good, but physically I am not currently in a position to do that, so it will have to wait until next week (or longer). At the end of the day, its still a sports car, so it doesn't have enough suspension travel to cope with really rough terrain. The R60 is still way better at that terrain, but for rally stage type terrain, the R20 is pretty good. R60 Rally = Enduro, R20 Rally = XC
The aero package is not 3d modelled yet. That should add in the fender flares (wheelbase is wider than stock, currently does not clear fenders), aero front bumper, rear diffuser, maybe a wing, maybe some canards, that sort of stuff.
Should I TwinTurbo the V10? Detuned version: 405hp 620Nm [max 6000RPM] Tuned version: 535hp 637Nm [max 7000RPM]
I have just ran a quick normal mapping test. I do still need to spend a little bit of time learning how to make good normal maps, but it looks like it works
Bake them 2x or 4x higher resolution, then downscale the texture. It will help with the aliasing. Else, you can do them directly in Gimp/PS: Make your shapes in B/W (shape in white, background in black) Run a blur filter (1-2px). Then a Normal Map filter.
