The Pessima is older, the Sunburst is likely from a lower class.

hi guys sorry to have posted onto the sbr4 page. As I don't think there is a page for it.

I have just found a funky looking damage affect following the changes made to the shape of the body of the sunburst
    happens after a side impact
    (also happens to the moonhawk)

just seeing if you could investigate into the problem Thank (=

Honestly, I have no hatred against electric, they do have a lot of torque tbh. Idk what anybody drives, just don’t be a dick about the whole “save the world” thing. Idk what you do, go buy an electric if you want. But I swear by gas/ diesel for my whole life. I don’t like electric personally, but I don’t mind the people who drive them if they aren’t annoying about it. But again, I swear by non electric myself, as I don’t find electric cars fascinating in any way, they are kinda boring. But I do have to admit they have a hell of a lot of torque compared to non electric, which can make them speedy in many cases. They are just not really fascinating in my mind, I love piston engines. The sound, the feel, the reality of everything.

Electric cars are not really as eco friendly as you think, the factory making the car produces so mutch Co² that the car will never make up for that.

Unfortunately, some people now say that this is not true.

The problem is, CO2 is pretty much nothing when it comes to pollution, either vehicle or industrial, and EVs can cause some pretty nasty forms of pollution, especially if the battery pack burns (which can happen from a crash or even from charging too fast). Plus the human rights abuses of rare-earth mines in much of the world. But not to worry, someone out there has already converted all the hydrogen fluoride, sloppy mining, and slave tears into a nice, neat, context-free CO2 equivalent number so they can continue to pretend that EVs are virtuous! And don't forget, there's a new technology Right Around the Corner (release date TBD) which will completely erase all the faults of EVs and blow liquid fuel out of the water, which means that all the problems with current EVs are irrelevant or don't actually exist!

Hydrogen is the best type of fuel. It's a renewable source since the exhaust is ho2 (water). The best place to get hydrogen is from water. So it's renewable and don'st require too much tinkering to go from petrol (gas) or diesel engines to hydrogen.
The 3 main reasons why I don't have too much faith in electrical engines are lithium, Battery life and recharge speed.
Lithium is one of the rares resources in the universe (not just earth) so even if space mining becomes a thing it wont be easy to find (cosmological lithium discrepancy).
Now recharge speed as it now is not at all good. For Electric cars to compete with Hydrogen and petroleum based vehicles the recharge for 500 miles needs to be under 1 hour along with the battery's needing to last for a minimum of 5 years without needing to be replaced (outside of a crash). If lead battery's were to return and compete with lithium then the lithium problem will be solved but there is the big question of "what do we do with all the dead battery's?"

The problem with hydrogen is that is very expensive and inefficient to produce.

    This is true. Absolutely.

The alternative though can't be yesterday's "YOLO" mentality either.

Whatever energy storage you use on future cars, the only efficient way of convering that energy into motion is an electric motor, piston based engines are not efficient and also over engineered with all the reliability problems linked to that.

Anyone noticed that in 0.17 the handling has deteriorated. with ESC off
Before 0.17 the AWD TTS2 is a bit oversteery but easy to recover.
In 0.17 the AWD TTS2 is very understeery when gripping the pavement, but will oversteer when about to go sideways. Making it a very unpredictable car

In theory electric motors are an efficient way to use energy, however batteries are and will likely remain a highly inefficient way to store that energy, in terms of size and weight. We are bumping up against the limits of chemistry and unless/until there is another breakthrough in this area EVs will remain an impractical toy for rich virtue signalers.

You miss the point that allways try to explain, is just a matter of what we need, I'm 42km away from my work, and I have acces to everything I need on the daily bassis on a 12km radius. So do I need to storage 1000km of energy in my car?, NO. And I think there's a lot off people they not drive more than a 100km every day. The electric car that you can get right now like the Kona electric or Niro, new Zoe, the uncoming 208 ev... all of them with +400km of range are enough for the most of the people.

This does not change the fact that EVs are objectively inferior to ICE vehicles and are likely to remain so for the forseeable future.

Well, honestly they are only inferior at the moment in terms of range, for all the other are way superior. And as I told you, range is not crucial for a lot of people. So I rather to have a lot of instant torque, silent and comfortable drive that provides the EV's for daily purposes.
For having fun at the racetrack give me a .... wait!, give me an electric race car as the VW I.D.R. .. .. .. so you are running out of arguments because the EV's are faster even at the racetracks.
ICE cars are just a relic, full of nonsense sentimentalism. But for sure at the beginning of the 20th century it was full of people thinking and arguing coaches are better than automobiles!, yes yes.
In 20 years kids will ask "why people liked the ICE cars?" and we can say because they do brum brum... SO stupid!

Back to SBR topic, I would love to see an E-SBR like the Porsche mission e cross
