I'm certainly looking foward to what we see with the Bolide. Hopefully the high trim editions will see some aggressive body work.
I hope that when the H-series gets overhauled, it will receive a passenger body style option, or maybe even optional two-tone paint, such as this: Also, great job on the mini-update, hope to see more revamps of the current vehicles in-game soon.
I noticed something interesting about the old and rusty police and taxi skins for the Grand Marshal, they are actually a combination of the normal old/rusty skin and the police/taxi skin. There are no skin files for a "rusty police skin" for example, so there seems to be a means to combine skins now, meaning that we could very easily see "old paint" and "rusty" versions of many more vehicles and skins.
There's a ton I want to see for the H-Series, but I'm not sure it's any more likely to see a complete remaster over any other older vehicle, aside from the frame updates mentioned in todays devblog. Roamer and H-Series already got the body updates after all. As for the above comments concerning the D-Series: Isn't the D-Series a little big for those? That stuff is generally kept to minitrucks and utes from what I've seen.
i'm pretty sure the bolide is the most bland/undetailed car we have at the moment, particularly the engine. handles like a dream though, and that sound!! not only does it deserve an update, it needs one. and a rally version is so obvious that they just have to add it.
The Grand Marshal seems to have gotten a wraparound PIT bumper, but no config uses it. I would not be surprised if there are more police versions in the works.
Kinda weird to think that i never noticed that the Grand Marshal didnt detach from the chassis even thought it was a body-on-frame car. If im honest i thought it was a unibody with front and back subframes. Really nice update anyway. I feel like the revamps are breathing some air into old cars. The original car roaster is getting a long overdue update. Now i would like to see the Moonhawk get some love because that poor thing seems to have been forgotten to time.
The Moonhawk got its body reshaped at the same time as the Sunburst; while I was trying to start a riot over the Sunburst reshape I also somewhat miss the big, blocky, pretending-to-be-a-full-size-car Moonhawk too. I do hope the H-Series gets a full overhaul and not just a body/frame separation (even though it already got a body reshape at the same time as the others); it's been one of the most content-poor vehicles in the game for a long time (to the point where there isn't even a factory manual-gearbox config that doesn't also come with company decals and some lading) even while its platform-mates the Roamer and D-series have been blowing up and becoming config spam kings. It's time the H-series got a chance to shine! Back to the Grand Marshal, now that the custom variant has been renamed to "Street - Tuned" it would seem that the old "Custom" nomenclature is going away completely even for American cars. But you know what else it really needs? A decommissioned police car straight off the auction block. So stripped of its lights & sirens but with its cop shocks, cop motor, etc. still intact.
Also, just so everyone knows: In the transition to "Street Tuned" the Grand Marshal Custom lost its MT swap, 18" wheels, and Sport tires.
