    I just tried the app to be sure, and it's working fine over here.
    The issue could be anything between the game and your phone:
    Your connection, your firewall, your phone itself, and the list goes on and on.

    The fact that nothing happens right after you scan the code could potentially mean your issue is the firewall, or anything similar that is filtering your connections.

    Please check and provide info about:
    • Your phone model
    • Android / iOS version ( If Android, Original or Custom ROM? )
    • Phone and PC are both connected to the same network? ( WiFi network )
    • Is the game allowed through the Windows firewall? ( won't work if not! )
    • Do you have some weird programs on your phone that could be blocking the connection?
    • Is your router/modem blocking the two devices from communicating?

    when I load beam ng it gives me a (Not responding) is there any way to fix that issue?

    If it's not related to the 'Remote Control' app, then please create a separate thread and provide more information:
    - Was it working before
    - If you tried without mods (if you have any)

    Thank you for replying, i will check my firewall, because i saw it say something about firewall, but i checked it out, and i turned it off but it still did the same thing. Either way my game wont update to 0.14 for some reason. It just says an error occurred, and wont download.

    If you cannot solve it still, please open a new thread here for this issue, giving more info such as if you got the game on Steam, and what's happening exactly.

    Hey! It's been a while and there were a bunch of updates came but there isn't anything about this app. Is it possible that in future devblogs could we see some information about this?

    Ok, let me give a bit of my side on this. I use a Note9 Oreo 8.1, and in using a tethered connection which runs on a 70kb connection.
    For some reason it says, " Connection timeout" i get that it hasn't been updated for about 3 years but please. By the way, im not asking for any drama. I just wanted to say it would be a little helpful if they would make this app compatible with more devices. But that said, it looks like a great app and it has some potential. But please, PLEASE it would be nice if this was updated sooner or later.

    Also its a good app at the same time

    Your issue is not related to the app updates. The app does not have such issues on recent devices.
    Yours is more related to the actual connection. Check if your firewall (or any antivirus you have with such feature) is blocking the game's connection, which usually the main reason why you get that message.

    I get a "connection timeout" error when pairing my phone.

    (more information to come)

    I have a Samsung Galaxy A50 on Android 9. Both are connected to the same network.Both are connected to the same network (I checked), however, I'm not sure about the firewall. Furthermore, I have a QR Code Scanner on my phone.

    The app itself has a QR scanner, you don't need anything additional.
    Timeout more likely due something between the PC and the phone not allowing the connection to happen properly (ie. firewalls or similar)

    Just shows a green box around it, but nothing happens. I am on iPhone XR. I have tried uninstalling it but nothing seems to work. It's allowed through the firewall, and the PC and phone are on the same WiFi network. Help?

    Has there been any advancements over the app? I mean, are sliders for brake and acceleration being added? I think it would make the experience a lot better.

    After one of the last UI updates, giant google play button covers quarter of QR code, making scanning it impossible.
    I have caught a frame before button managed to load, and tried scanning the code, but still no luck. Camera focus "bumps" weidrly, which certainly didn't happen before and this behaviour is only observed in control app, so i am unable to get a clear shot on the code.
