Look at their positions... they're obviously waiting for a girl in the middle /joke. They're waiting my current mod to be finished to chose one of them.
Trying to "add lightness". It's still easier said than done. The car weighs 660kg with fuel right now. It has some problems with the grip on the rear but that might be geometry related. Engine is from the ETK, suspension is made by me and uses models from the SBR4.
I have found that getting the weight distribution and roll centre (front and rear) in a good place makes a whole world of difference.
The chassis tubes looks really wide compared to a caterham chassis (the car that inspirated your model IIRC). Maybe you should try to reduce their diameter
Still WIP but I'm almost satisfied with the retractable lights. Got the Jbeam really stable now and restored most of the collision stuff so they can crash along with the rest. We must keep in mind that the ETK i was not intended for this option at all so it's quite a serious construction for making it stable and sound. The Barstow has a huge rigid oldstyle grill and even if you unmark it in the parts selector the lights disappear as well. The ETK doesn't have as much room to build upon so that's quite challenging. Texture mapping almost done but not completely. I won't send it in for the repo because I don't feel like renaming all the Barstow's parts and stuff but the mod IS waterproof > no conflicts Even if it was accepted as a repo mod I still don't consider it to be worthy but I will share it on the forums in a while . Also started on the gearshifter recently.. a whole other story..
It’s cool to see the shifter on the I-Series, too. I remember a while back when you did it for the Covet and it looked really nice. Keep up the good work.
f im surprised people like you still find motivation to mod when there's no real reward ingame (EG: the game is super laggy/bad graphics, etc). I applaud you. But i guess you do get the satisfaction because it works, whatever you made, so thats a bonus.
They are, I'm developing in 0.15.0.3 not in 0.17 aand the screen caster causes extra lag --- Post updated --- Hey @Kueso let me tell you this : Actually I don't really care a lot about the quality of the graphics. It's actually the way BeamNG behaves as simulator that has a grip on me. Besides I tend to use my pc as long as I am able to optimize it for my purposes, once it doesn't anymore it goes but by then I'll be packing myself with a new champion horse as mine was in... 2010 or something ! Hence my signature..
Noo I'm using both 0.15.0.3 and 0.17(0.0). And I'll be updating again when I'm ready for it. I've learned to use multiple installs, I posted it on another thread a short while ago. edit : Yes I got the game via Humble there's nothing wrong with that I don't use Steam cause my gaming mainly concerns this game.
