If i have to be honest, the rear looks like something straight out of Automation - which is a bad thing. Perhaps you could give it a little plastic surgery?
first off- amazing mod! but, there are a few problems- very small problems, mind you, but problems nonetheless- first off, the front wheels are not actually centered between the arches- second of all, the vehicle looks a bit disproportionate compared to its real life counterparts- here; let me show you. i did some quick drawings to find the average lines of this vehicles main two real life counterparts- the x5 and the x3 here's the slopey line of the base and the slope of the windshield for the x5: and for the x6: and here are the ones for the 1300: here's what it looks like when you overline the ones from the BMWS onto the 1300: i know that it's a bit hard to see, but you can really see how the x5 and the x3 seem to curve up a ton more as they go farther aft of the front wheels- the reverse happening in the windshield, as it curves a ton less and starts a bit further forwards in its real life counterparts. (also i scaled these three images to be almost exactly perfectly sized for eachother; so these markings are genuine) after about thirty minutes in photoshop (a great deal of which were spent trying to get the damn clone stamp tool to cooperate), i created this: Gfycat Video - Click to Play - Direct Link the image with the background is the before and the white background is the after, with the windshield raked into a more vertical stance, the roofline pulled up and forwards just a tad, and the base of the car lifted to perfectly caress the center of the wheels, in terms of height. (as it more or less does on the irl counterparts.) EDIT: a less beefy and angular nose could also help quite a bit, as well as lifting the greenhouse even more, decreasing the distance between the roof rack and the top of the window's chrome, like so: to (just an fyi this comparison was made after i finished my original edit, so it's a comparison of two versions of the edited version of your concept- sorry if that was confusing!) sorry if i'm being rude, as i tend to be a lot of the time when trying to give advice- but hey, this is just my opinion seriously though, great mod; great car! (since the gif is iffy, here's a final comparison between the two) before after i do hope that you'll take my suggestions, but after all, this is your mod, and i'm sure it'll be grand any-which-way you decide! -Acrain7
That's the old version of this mod, it was never officially released and was instead leaked by Ivan to Russian mod sites.
It only took what.... 2 or 3 years and a couple of leaks? Still excelent work. Better late than never. Maybe a custom interior next?
Hey, love the mod, but when you try to put a light bar on it, instead of being on the roof it is inside the car. Also, it would be nice if it supported more light bars. Awesome job with the mod!
I've noticed that the brake lights are very hard to see through the rows of LED lights. This could be intentional, but I think it would look better if the LED strips lit up with the brake lights. Also the turn signals light up the whole light, and I think it's probably supposed to be just the amber strip at the top. Anyway, great mod. Lots of fun.
Very good model, but the handling isn't realistic at all (specially the suspension) I hope you will work on it for future versions
what do you mean kerozen it drives fine for me nice mod btw a few suggestions maybe a etk v8 with a smooth v8 sound for the x5 style and maybe deisel v8 also
The suspension is actually a little bit weaker than the ETK800.... --- Post updated --- Found a problem. Every model except the 1356t and allroad use sport tires. Only the 1356t and allroad version use all-terrain tires.
