Gabe said he didn't want to because of how many frames it has. Opinions might have changed since then though; the vehicle team has changed a lot since that comment was made.
https://www.reddit.com/r/BeamNG/comments/d7ghwv/whats_wrong_with_ai/ Hotfix will be out "soon" according to Nadeox.
I wonder why the hot fix has taken so long to release. The AI issue has been listed as "fixed for next hotfix" on the discussion thread for awhile and that's a big enough issue to warrent a dedicated hotfix.
https://documentation.beamng.com/user_interface/index.html#id2 Obviously just an extremely bare bones page in the WIP documentation system, but there are clear distinctions between the old and new UI, possibly hinting at the WIP release of the new UI sometime in the future.
I wouldn’t be blown away if we say the revamped Roamer, D-Series, or H-Series in this upcoming hotfix. It seems a little soon for a vehicle revamp maybe, but that’s a possible explanation for why it’s taken so long to come out.
Either that or they've been aggressively been trying to fix the game crash issues that some users have been reporting.
Oh. So it's not just me having serious hang ups with this update? Also The vehicle config can forget parts you selected when you unpause.
We are seeking if there's more fixes that can be fit in the hotfix, rather than having a hotfix just for one thing.
I wonder if the Grand Marshal will get a new woodless interior. While I know I'm about to get roasted and sent to hell for saying this but, It would be nice to have a woodless option. Having wood in a 90's PD car seems...... out of place, and you know more options.
Don't know why I'd roast and send you to hell, because what you say makes sense. A woodless interior would not only make sense with the police configuration. but also the lower trim configurations, the ones not meant to be fancy, higher trim configurations.
All of the cars need additional interior options. Removed door pannels are nice, but the mostly factory race car interiors and lack of equipment on emergency vehicles isn't great for the immersion factor.
Always thought the rear end needed a rework on the bolide, the tailights just weren't that special and the wheels seemed low poly
