I'd imagine it to be less of a high performance car, and more like a poorly-selling poster car.

Wasn't really trying to imply that. With the idea I had, performance wise it would most likely stay the same, with a few tweaks here and there. What I would change the most would be to give it a more unique appearance. I kinda agree with what others has said, the design of it isn't anything extreme, and could use a little more TLC to catch it up with the recently added cars and the ones getting revamped.

Also, I've always seen supercars as just that, a supercar. By that I mean they're fast, fancy, cool, pleasing to look at, are built in limited quantity, and are way out of my league when it comes to ownership, because they're more of a rich man's car.

What I meant more was that the Bolide probably isn't Civetta's poster car of the 80's, but rather the car you occasionally find on used car sites at very low prices. The Bolide really isn't a supercar, but rather the car that the middle manager buys to say that they own a Civetta, but when asked what model it is rapidly changes the subject.

Yes, as of now the Bolide is far too blocky and generic, but design wise it should take cues from vehicles within actual class than rather than having a more "extreme" (for the time) design.

I actually kind of like its current design. Whatever is done, I hope it doesn't obsolete the Bolide Corse mod.

I, in other hand, don't understand why anyone want some drastic changes in already existing cars (other than better proportions and details). Someone designed the car so let it be.

Vehicle detail updates seems to be what's being worked on right now, if we use the grand marshal as an example, we can speculate that there will be slight body changes to match real world equivalents, detail improvements, and more parts, for whatever cars are left that need updating

I get what you're saying, and I'm hoping what I'm saying makes sense to you too. Either way, I'd still consider the Bolide a supercar. It's what it was manufactured to be. I would treat it as Civetta's poster car, because there isn't another Civetta supercar that can fill the part of poster car better. It would be different if there was one that suited the part better than the Bolide. And, if the Bolide isn't their poster car, then what would be?

that's like assuming the roamer is gavril's poster car of the 90s just because there's no better option yet. while i do agree with the fact that it is a supercar, it is most likely more of an entry-level supercar, that you occasionally find good deals on (€30k or less) because it lacks in performance and style.

it needs a huge revamp, and i hope a redesign as well, but taking a lot of inspiration from it's current state, since i think it fits the car quite well.

    You have some good points.

Honestly, I would've never guessed that there are supercars out there that are at such a price. It honestly makes them sound affordable, but that's not considering insurance. If you told me about a supercar that only costed around €30k, or $32k, I would guess that it's because the car is not in the best of condition.

And I'm with you, I do like the current design of the Bolide, but I can only imagine what a revamped version of it could look like. It's definitely one the devs needs to consider in the future, after the Gavrils.

What are some things you'd personally like to see with the Pigeon?

For me, at least one new body style. I wouldn't mind seeing one that's like the Reliant Rialto.

I’d like to see glass that actually breaks, for starters.

I kinda agree with that as, how I see it the Bolide in my eyes is a bit like the Italian version of a Pontiac Fiero(the Fiero with the v6 not the "Iron duke" inline 4) just with a larger engine, and dimensions. Of course the Fiero is a entry level sports car and without a doubt cannot hold a candle compared to the Bolide considering they are to entirly different types of car, but at the same time with some similarities. Though on that note I would like to see something like a Vector W2 or W8 as like Beamng-verse's american answer to the Bolide at some point if at all in the future.

Its actually acrylic, not glass... Pigeon is pretty much all plastic.

    you've obviously never seen this:

or even plastic windows that fall out.
I would say a more accurate comparison would be the lamborghini Silhouette/Jalpa. V8, mid engined, mot that great performace wise, but with (nearly) all the style and impracticality of the V12 flagship supercar.

Makes sense, but it’s strange to see it just bend.

there isn't any reasonable way of simulating plastic yet though...

    Plastic pigeon?

I would've thought the pigeon was metal, and glass windows

There are few cars where like D-series grille or whole bus body just go invisible if it's been damaged (or stretched) quite a lot. I wonder why devs don't want to make glass pipping out, especially in bus and Pigeon. I remember bus mod where it worked quite well.

I wonder what the devs will add if they will remaster the Legran..
