hello everyone, hope everyone is having a good day..
The question i have for all of you is none of my downloaded vehicles or maps arnt showing up in game??? for example- i download a map and cut/paste it into the levels section of beamng, go in game to select a map and its not there.
This is happening with the vehicles also...
I deleted the game and re-installed it to my ssd and still doesn't work..
Im really bummed out because i have really been wanting to play.

Are you extracting them to the location, or just sticking the .zip in there?

you need to extract the files, just sticking .7z/rar/zip files in there will not work. Also a common mistake is to extract the file in such a way that you have nested folders. Normally if I go into the vehicles folder and then click on the hatch folder, I should be presented with a collection of files, however its quite common to accidently set it up so you open the hatch folder and inside it is another folder called hatch and inside that it has the collection of files, BeamNG won't understand that.

The thing is, there are only 2 people that have ever reported this problem, you and some other guy that made a thread a few days ago.

In all honesty, I can only say the issue is most likely user error simply because if it was an actual game bug people would have been reporting it months ago as they run into it.

im telling you its not human error i have had drive on my dads computer for a year with a bunch of vehicles and maps no problem, i had it on my new computer for about 2 months with vehicles and maps and then one day maps weren't loading vehicles weren't loading so i deleted the game and reinstalled it and now nothing shows up.

Ok i just uninstalled everything beamng related off my computer, i just reinstalled it when into the beamng files and went into vehicles and deleted the props (barrels, fileramp etc.) i go in game and nothing was deleted..
Its not me its the game there is something wrong with the game

Ok I figured it out.. Im guessing there is a bug in the game were when you download the game and start the game up it doesn't automatically update when it says it does.. I went into the beamng files and clicked launched the updater app. The game updated and i went in and everything works.. So the only thing i could think off is that when you download the game for the first time and open it up it doesn't automatically update.

Unless there is an undiscovered windows filesystem bug that is impossible. The game loads its cars from those folders, if the folders are absent then it can't load them because they arent there.
Are you sure you don't have 2 copies of BeamNG installed and that its in a folder with read/write permissions?
