What's even sadder: in 1988 it finally replaced its Chevette-based underbody with the bespoke suspension it deserved all along... and then was cancelled immediately afterwards, along with the planned second generation that might well have made people wonder why the SW20 MR2 even needed to exist.
A product plagued by GM's ineptitude from the start only to be killed off because it wasn't corporate enough. this is why I HATE GM
i like big fat american malaise era cars from the 1970s and 1980 and the early 1990s with giant slow but smooth v8 engines and 3 speed transmissons waving on the road so i saved up some money to buy one for my self to repair a 1975 ford LTD landau 4dr sedan mine is with the 5.8l/351m v8 and a fmx 3 speed automatic transmission still needs a lot of work
I like Z31s too, though mentioning specific output as a plus point in and of itself does nothing for me.
Lexus SC 430, the nicest Buick ever made. I've driven it and my only complaint is that the brakes feel a bit soft.
Based on my experiences at another forum which I left 5 years ago, will not name, and am in no hurry to go back to, the typical 2CV fan is someone who thinks that "car guys are uncool" and that Top Gear's brain vomits on the subject of automotive coolness are gospel truth - so since the 2CV would look just perfect parked outside one of those impossibly precious European cafes you always see in paintings, it must therefore be super cool. They also tend to believe that being able to beat the snot out of a car without breaking the speed limit makes that car cooler, when really it just means that the car in question is horribly underpowered and overall pathetic. A typical 2CV fan may also: -Consider high specific output to be a "plus point" in and of itself in any car that isn't a 2CV -See the Honda Civic as the "gold standard" of sport compacts, and judge all other FWD compact cars by how much they resemble the EG/EK/EP -Be a brony -Have "fashionably center-leftist" views on every hot-button sociopolitical issue And probably a lot else that I've forgotten. Basically, there is a strong correlation between "being a wannabe urban sophisticate" and "being able to feel anything other than contempt toward the Citroen 2CV". (See also: Toyota Prius or really any hybrid/EV)
This is opinion, not fact. That's like saying people who prefer older cars are automatically Boomers and people who prefer new cars are children. (I actually like both and I'm a teenager)
ok ok im not a boomer but that is the stupidest thing ive ever heard you basically are saying anyone who likes supras and gtrs are now 7 year olds?
You just had to make it fucking political didn't you. Also can you cut it out with the "Lmao EV bad" shit.
