They still work beautifully ! It should be updated now to use more Impala's rather than Caprice, but for now it's a good start, you people can change your presets easily

Will see what I can do, I live In Knox County and that would be a hour 2 hour drive there and back but I will see what I can do, I could possibly go down next Wednesday or when I have time, bit no promises yet,

I think the vehicle is blue but unsure as i have not really though about it until you added the Chevrolet Impala in the mod (great work!). That is also where my profile picture was taken (my future first car).

Ok, so I'm not getting an sound from the 305, or any of the diesel engines. I've searched here, no one else has reported this problem that I can find.

 

So are the universal rims working for all vanilla or some i am unable to find them with the D-series?

Just saw the new Joker movie and as i was watching it, i noticed something....

 

yes, being that the movie is set in the late 70's, there are B-Bodies everywhere.

 

Yah I know the film is supposed to take place in the year 1981, but I just wasn’t expecting to see any Delta 88’s

 

Yeah indeed we're more used to see Caprice or Ford LTD as Yellow Cabs.

 

The update is awesome. However the "optional_oldsfullsize_addons_oldsounds.zip" is causing some vehicles to have no sound.

 

Well, in the new version of the first post, the custom sounds are not downloadable anymore, so the meaning was it's best to remove it, as i abandoned completly those sounds.

I'll mention it in the OP though.

For the breaking bad fans, i tried making Mike´s car. I know he has a Chrysler. But i tried making it as close as i could. Been tinkering with the new stuff in this mod for the last few days, and i love it.

 

Mmmmh, i think you'd have more chance reaching the likeness by using the Caprice Classic LS :

 

This 5th Ave is already midsize, like G-body, but without frame. Also full range of '60s, '70s & '80s Chrysler platforms built on unitized body ( https://www.allpar.com/threads/chry...ody-construction-1960.236659/#post-1085245072 ).

 

The police light bar is unnatually dark, especially the red light bar, the bar is darker than both the light and ambient lighting.

 

I think it's the same issue as for the dusty glass when the renderer struggles to sort them correctly. Isn't it a random dark display ? I didn't noticed that on my version.

 

Engines and driveshafts seem really strong. It takes a really big hit to really destroy either. For example I could still drive the car even though the engine is detached and hanging next to the car.
