Can't update the game!

Every time I try to update the game it gives the error message "unable to download /changelog." Any help? It's been impossible to update thus far and re-installing the game didn't help because The link in my e-mail was to an older version.

Can't use the search button either apparently.

Very common issue. 99.99% of the time caused by antivirus or firewall blocking the updater, simple fix, disable both of them, run the updater and then turn them back on. May also be caused by dodgy proxy settings but if its your own machine you should know about any proxy changes.
