Utah is an American map, so there's a reason to believe that it will be an American car. Other than that, I don't think we have anything to go on.
Well, that upends the apple cart. For all we know, we could be seeing any one of these: (Whatever it is, I plan on immediately painting it yellow.) To be honest and rational though, I feel that any of the above is a real long shot at the moment (but I can hold out hope...). My most realistic guess is that we're going to see a Legran-based eighties minivan, as there were some old rumblings that something of that sort had been partially developed, and it would make sense to get two vehicles containing shared components ready around the same time.
A Aussie Car ? I ) want want want ) A mini van ? ( lots of people want those ) ( but the H-series might have that kinda ) A new SUV ( again lots want that,, so do i dunno why ) New era Pick up ( new d series ) A EU Hatch back? ( or a new JAPAN EV ) A small Autobello van? Maybe not even a Car at all But maybe some sort of Dozer or farming thing? What ever it is.... How that it is spilled i say maybe we have 4 weeks before we get a taste Toot toot Hype train.
hmm, I think because the miramar was a JDM car released with Utah, they're going to release another JDM car with the updated utah, and it's going to be a halfway between a toyota townace and a mitsubishi debonair. /s in all seriousness, the most recent not-previously-announced cars have been the ETK 800, ETK K, hopper, dt40l, piccolina, and the esbr. note that these are much more diverse than the seemingly "demolition derby" influenced older list, which consisted of mostly 60's to 90's US market passenger cars. I'm going to stick to my theory that some kind of ford model T -esque car is planned at some point, as that entire era of cars is untapped potential, and an old rusty model t roadster driving around in utah just seems to fit well.
As much as I love American cars, we really need something from a new country (or at least German/Italian, since there's only 5 vehicles total between the two). The only "actual" evidence I can think of are the concept list cars and the electric car concept. All of which are just concepts, hence the quotes around "actual"... ---(Edit in response to the above)--- A model T sounds far too old to be useful in game, though there was a 1919 Franklin at drag week this year so... Maybe it would be of use... If we do get a prewar car, I still say a 1930's coupe would be the best option for the monumental potential variety it would bring.
Obviously it will be a Spangler Dual. I am so confused as to how BeamNG has not added such a common and iconic vehicle. /s
I guess it may be the updated D-series, Van or Roamer, so looking forward to all the cool variants of these cars
Well, these are some interesting developments. I wonder what it could be? Though it leaves me wondering now when the Wendover is going to arrive. Since now it's highly likely that the next update will not feature it. Only time I guess. France, Britain, and Russia would be good places to start. --- Post updated --- A 1930's car could not just be strictly limited to a coupe, it could be so much more. Cars back then came in tons of different varieties. Like, the Model A was available as a sedan, coupe, tudor, phaeton, pickup, delivery van, etc. Other Fords of that decade like the Model B, Model 48, and the 1937 Ford, also had options outside of a coupe.
I would just like to point out that there are currently no modern American cars in-game, the newest being the H-Series, which is 24 years old and based on a vehicle that is 31 years old. Despite the fact that a large portion of cars already in the game are American, it'd still be interesting to see a new American car. As for what body style this imaginary new car may be, it'd be interesting to see what a modern, unibody, shell-of-its-former-self Grand Marshal would look like. But I digress; this isn't the Vehicle Suggestions Thread.
One thing I just realized we need is a more modern Bruckell or Soliad of some description. We have no idea what they've been up to since the 1980s other that the unofficial and highly unlikely Bruckell Road Cruiser mod. They're unlikely to be still using the 378 for much of anything, even in pickup trucks, so what would a modern Bruckell look like?
I would like to remind everyone that only two brands, ETK and Hirochi, have cars made after 2001. So it while could be argued that any one brand needs a newer car, I'm saying that there needs to be a newer American car. After all, the majority of the cars are American, German, and Japanese, and only two of those countries are represented by modern cars as of now.
Oh wow! A surprise car! Maybe a car from the concept list. Personally, I would like to see the Albatross, a pre war vehicle, or a 50s pickup.
If it is an american modern car, i would guess a car that both japanese and europeans doesn't have. In short, a muscle cars with a V8 (the V8 is really important ) It would fill nicely this hole of modern americans in beamng PS : thank you devs to give us some informations to speculate about
I was thinking if it were a modern American car it could be something like a Charger type vehicle with V6 and V8 options, and RWD and AWD. It would also fit as a police vehicle. Configs could range from low end “rental car” spec to higher end performance models. If it were to be added there is also a possibility of a coupe variant depending on how the devs would interpret the vehicle.
I personally imagine something along the lines of the sunburst's production years, late '00s to early '10s. however, i suspect you guys may have something planned for the gaping chasm that is 2002-2007.
At the moment there are LEDs on the car, it's modern , in a more serious way I consider every car younger than 2010 as a modern car
Oh boy, I know I'm getting unrealistic here, but what if we got something from america from that era, sporty with a v8
Depends. merc anything after W124 ( happy W210 owner ) Most cars 2002 and newer BUT the fact he said that ( a DEV ) Hints its a new era car
