Made it easier for the bumpers to come off in an impact (They're more decorative than functional.) Weakened the hood hinges Weakened the door hinges and overall deformation Dash glowmap color changed from green to yellow (thanks @donburi ) Other small changes I forgot to mention I'm slowly working out the kinks, once those are worked out I'll explore the possibility of adding more customization options. I was looking through the pictures on the website you provided, and this caught my eye; I've never seen a Cosmo with a rear end like this, I always thought they all had the afterburner style taillights from day 1...
This is a precious car and a precious mod! I love to see it being made for beamNG! Also i would love to see a re-badge for a lore friendly (fictional) brand some time in the future! I'm gonna play this car right now, keep up the good work!
I never realized when I read that the Cosmo's rear end was facelifted before production, they were talking about the original prototype(s)... That's kinda cool, I'll have to reconsider adding other versions of the Cosmo to this mod. If you can find any more data on the first 2 prototypes, I'll consider adding an L10A Cosmo and the pre-production models to the mod. Probably a coincidence, the original prototype Cosmo taillights were possibly derived from the European cars Mazda was trying to emulate, by the 80s and 90s that was pretty commonplace.
Any ideas for giving the car some beamng lore changes and making it repo suitable? It could be very fitting to hirochi.
Understandable, i am not really the person that likes using a ton of modded vehicles and configs, i like my game vanilla but with a couple of mods here and there. But i do like seeing and encouraging people to make and release mods. So keep up the good work!
Small bump, I'm working on an update There will be a noticeable change to how the car handles, and the overall stock ride will be softer. There will also be a few engine performance upgrades. Some new sounds will also be included, they're from @yannis01186 's Mazda RX-7 mod (Which they're originally from Forza.) Also, I've started working on a quick L10A conversion; Skins still work, though fair warning to skin makers, the rear quarters might look a bit weird due to the nature of the required model edits; I still need the original 14" wheels, though they shouldn't be too difficult to make since there's a lot more references for these. Also I need to adjust the air cleaner texture and add in the 0810 engine torque curve. This only took a few hours vs the several days I was originally expecting, and should be ready for the next update. I'm considering some alternate badging and remaking the pre-production models, though those will take significantly more work. --- Post updated --- The 0810 engine has also been added, indicated by the yellow air filter housing
