Looks ok to me, might get it as I have a 870, or might use the reduced price to get a 3570k. Kinda sad in my opinion.
From what I have heard it's a graphics card (?) for a computer that does a whole tonne of cool things. And made by nvidia.
For what I've seen in the review, gaming performance remains the same, and they couldn't overclock it higher than 4,38Ghz, so I'm not upgrading.
i thought it was their new line of processors? like 4th gen i3 i5 and i7. They're going to support ddr4 ram
Isn't it just meant to be a really efficient design, rather than the usual deal where they just throw higher numbers onto the clock speed and Cores part of the table? I thought the buzz around it was that it did the same in terms of computing as what we have currently with a lower power usage.
It's a new CPU from Intel. Not a GPU from Nvidia. It's got 22nm. I'll probably skip this one, or I'll get it if I've got some money, but I will be getting a new graphics card soon, either a GTX660ti - or something from the 600s or a GTX760ti- or something cheaper than the 670. I don't really want a new CPU since I have a sandy bridge, I don't think it's worth spending another lot of money for 25% more power. And this one OCs nicely too
I like AMD because they make cheaper graphics cards than Nvidia, but for CPUs they are going towards power saving and "fusion", because they know they can't compete with Intel on performance.
Which is fine by me, as long as intel doesn't do the same thing. - - - Updated - - - It uses 8% more power because a higher TDP (77 to 87 for the 3/4770) and is about 13% faster. - - - Updated - - - That's Maxwell.
well since haswell supports ddr4 ram which uses 1.2v instead of 1.5v of ddr3..... kind of more effiecient?
