And I was just saying we don’t know exactly what’s to come in 0.18, so it’s not exactly fair to throw around such critical accusations.
Here I What Guess That 0.18 will have. New Utah-Looks Almost Done. D-Series Revamp-Looks Done. New Hopper Config-Looks Done. New Camera-Looks Done. H-Series Revamp-No States Yet. Roamer Revamp-No States Yet New Car-Unknown. Soilad Wendevor-No Hope For The Next Update
Maybe if the update brings us the revamped Utah, the "new car" could perhaps be a vintage (1940's-1970's) American pickup truck, which would be a perfect vehicle to go along with Utah. I know some people are suggesting a modern (2000's-2010's) pickup truck, but an older truck would be a lovely addition because it opens the door for more custom configurations. A truck like any of these would be great to see IMO: Edit: Another alternative route the devs could take is an economical prewar (let's say, 1930's) car inspired by cars such as the Ford Model A and British Ford Popular. It could come in a range of body styles, such as a Tudor, 2-door roadster, pickup truck, and the list goes on. It could also have a lot of customization potential, with options such as a drag racer, dirt racer, hot rod, etc. These cars are often associated with desert driving and racing, so that's why I think it could potentially go well as a tie-in with Utah.
Well just going off of content alone that's a decent update considering how big the updates to those vehicles and the map is. Throw in the usual updates to audio and AI/traffic, maybe some more miningames like the WCUSA drag strip.
I think that's a bit of a wild, baseless speculation. Most of the "new car" speculations are, too. There are so many types of cars, and not all of them are in BeamNG. We also don't have a 6x6 yet, so why not one of those? They're good off-road - and that's using the same argument everyone else is using.
Neither can it be considered modern. Based on Craigslist, a more Southwestern car would be a modern truck or a beat-up 80s/90s US barge. Or a depreciated 00s minivan.
I personally don't expect to see an new vehicle next update, Falkrum's being extremely vague, so I'd take that as a hint that they're working on something, but aren't ready to show it yet. What I suspect for 0.18: Likely: Remastered D-Series, H-Series, and Roamer - Confirmed for next update in 0.17.1.0 Remastered Utah - Given the amount of teasers, I would be surprised if it's not included. New Hopper Parts - I would be surprised if it's not included. Traffic Improvements - Gull said that he was working on various fixes and improvements based on community feedback. Possible: Remastered Port, Industrial Site, Small Island- They were teased back in November 2018 alongside remastered Derby Arenas and we have not seen anything about them since. Career Mode - Some sort of a WIP form of career mode might appear based on the claim that career mode would be coming in 2019 in the 0.15 changelog. More "Game Modes" in freeroam - The drag race system on WCA served as groundwork, we could see more of this in the future. Remastered Jungle Rock Island - Another older map that clearly needs a remaster. Unlikely: New Car - We don't know much, it might not be that far along in development. Soliad Wendover - Confirmed to not be the next car in game. Completely new levels - We've heard nothing of new maps.
Disagree bro. U are not right because of one thing - in every beamng update, besides visible new things like new vehicle or map or scenarios/campaigns, devs add some new elements or rework old elements in game engine and other things that makes game works. May be not all 228% of things that ive just said is right, but in some aspects im right blyad
The only thing these trucks have in common with their stock counterparts is the bodywork, though. They'd have to make a whole new vehicle to add a monster truck variant, unless it was some sort of "let's put a ridiculous lift and mud tires on it" modification (which I wouldn't mind )
That's what the original monster trucks were. The D-Series is a little late for that style of truck unless we get that 1980's version the one we have is based on. I really hope we do get that since 1980's trucks look really cool. Somewhat off topic, being more of a request than speculation... I really hope to see this as another hot lap route on the Belasco track. It would only require this section be modified to make the turn onto the middle route more sensible.
That actually brings to mind an interesting idea for the D-series rework. Imagine finally getting the "OG" D-series in all its 80s glory.
