^ The more I think about it, the more it seems like Falkrum was asking that question as a general comment rather than concerning the new car. That being said, it has been a long time since we've gotten a new modern car (fully new, not counting the eSBR since that was just a drivetrain)
Might as well just invent a time machine and go back in time if you dislike modern cars that much. Back to topic: I speculate bug fixes in the next release. Back to hibernation, that's enough forum activity for me.
So what do you guys think? Are we just getting some tires that have pre-applied dirt on them? Or did we get a hint that all tires now have the potential to get dirty in the next update?
I wouldn't hold out much hope for the latter. I don't see dynamic dirt systems being added very soon, to be honest.
Keep in mind a compact car and a mid size car are different size categories. Also, what's up with the focus on American cars? People keep saying "We need American xyz car", but there's still a lot of fairly important archetypes that aren't yet represented in this game.
We don't have any mid to late 90s European cars (the I series is more 80s) so something like an E36 or E46 3 series would be cool (basically a much older 800 series) maybe as a coupe as you have more potential for crazy variants. Heck do some early ETKs from the 60s and before.
I think there is a distinct lack of french-ness in this game. Something along the lines of a Renault Laguna or an early 2000s Citroen C5 would be really cool. It's the sort of thing that would kill two birds with one stone, as it fills a gap in vehicle types and also in model years for this game.
all of these mid-century land yachts are starting to melt together. We don't need an ultra-specific this or that- we need something modern.
Renault Safrane Biturbo Baccara. Yet another awesome machine that wouldn't be allowed to be built today, or at least wouldn't be as cool.
lack of Frenchness? just add a stinky, baguette-clutching, white flag-waving, smoking mime prop into the game! simple!
