hewwo everybody! i'm gonna start by saying that all this stuff, while familiar to me as ive done it before on much smaller scales, is indeed pretty new to me i'm learning along the way, not everything will be super clean or perfect. it started as just a test for myself but, some people seem interested so i thought it might be worth at least a thread, whether i release it or not will be determined by the feedback i get and the final product the car is pretty heavily 200bx based, (both jbeam and model-wise) but the jbeam was stretched to fit the model without any scaling (on the model) Spoiler: nov2019photos feel free to ask some questions below although, ill answer a few right here can i beta test? (translation: can i have the mod to flex on people?)no, i will not distribute the mod to anyone until its ready for testing (estimated) release date? (translation: i'm impatient and your life doesnt matter, make me a deadline)if you couldnt tell i have a plethora of stuff to deal with in my life (depression, friends, school, parents, dysphoria). the mod will be released when i'm in a state where i'm happy with it being released. (not to put anything on anyone - i know how to work with most my issues myself but, some of you in the community genuinely need to shut the fuck up) credits model - me / beamng jbeam - me / beamng textures - me / beamng you get the point i make stuff and use a lot of beamng's assets and make a mess please be nice.
It clearly needs better headlihts and taillights. Try using FORZA, or model yourself. I can try, but my modelling skills are far from perfect
WOAH! i love this! imo you have done a really good job this far, it's a unique car that's for sure and i hope i get to drive it one day, i'll definitely stay and watch your progress! I hope things gets easier regarding your depression and such, i've been there and still am, so i'm fighting with you! Putting your mind to work could actually be really good for you, bless!
Idk how it crashes atm, but model wise it looks hella good, imo the only thing left model wise is badges and maybe interior (idk your plans on that one), so good job!
That sucks a bit, but hopefully you (or someone else) will be able to improve the jbeam in the future
dont wanna use external models. but maybe I could reference the forza ones. I'll do my best to add a good number of skins to the mod, but skinning wont be much of a different process than skinning any car so when i release it, anyone can skin it. oof model is probably the worst part, but I'm hoping I can get the jbeam decent enough at least aha thanks mate, hope things get better for you as well
This looks awesome! I've always wanted a soarer in this game! Amazing cars. This looks really good so far - the model looks very well done. I do see some rough spots but I have no doubt you will be able to fix those. I will definitely be watching this thread. --- Post updated --- Also, I feel you on the topic of depression. I play this game because I am able to ignore my feelings and just drive (kinda like driving away from my feelings...lol). I hope everything does get better for you though! Hope this mod works out : )
Looks awesome, I’d love to own one of these some day, but in a salty, snowy climate, a V8 RWD car doesn’t make much sense. I’m looking forward to driving it in game, keep up the good work.
snow, salt on the roads and stupid local taxes decimated these cars around where i live, but it always wierded me out, i don't know but it alway felt like a discount mercedes sl / Lancia K coupè (also yes, this car is good loking, i know but opinions are opinions)
oh come on, the car was well built, proportioned, fast (the v6), even thought it's associated with old people that go to see street workers at 6:30 am.
