    If this has been said i cant find but i'd like to know is there or will there be LAN use in the update ?
    I mean will i be able to do LAN play and how ?

    no, multiplayer is planned... but not for a long time

    AFAIK, local multiplayer (multiple cars controlled on one PC) is planned, while network multiplayer has yet to be decided.

    Do you have a source confirming the addition of network multiplayer eventually?

    It's all the same code. They've said multiple times before that at the very least, non-collision-enabled network MP will exist.

    as long as i get collision enabled LAN MP(Obviously eventually, were not getting any type of mp for a while), i'm good, i could care less about online multiplayer

    Please find a source for that if you can. I've only seen speculation and things like "IF we do network multiplayer... etc ... but it's not a goal ATM"

    I have a feeling telling me that this game is gonna die since it's taking so much time to get the updates released
    God knows how much time it will take the developers to make the AI Drivers and the Multiplayer feature in the game [Maybe another year or two ?]
    I mean , if they don't act quickly enough we will see better games using new game engines with better graphics and features and we don't want that happening .
    Don't hate I just want what everybody wants.

    I hate to admit it, but your probably right. Those who are patient and mature enough to stick around to see this game progress deserve a cookie. Plus it's a small team of devs and they are the best devs a small game could ask for. Hopefully people will realize that it's all part of the process. Although progress may seem slow, it's not. Honestly, the ones who will leave this game don't deserve as good of devs as we have. All of the BeamNG community is connected with the developers and we can all communicate. Everything has imperfections but we'll have to deal with it. Trust me, eventually we will make it through.

    because unlike some people, i get the fact that its a 4 dev team, and only 2 of them are coding (other 2 are vehicle and map/terrain artists)

    You're all quite wrong, it's far from dying.. It's the opposite actually, the company is growing rapidly.

    We know this update is taking forever, there's not much they can do about that. You can't rewrite half the game and give it to the public, that doesn't work. People will endlessly complain that their game crashes before it even reaches the menu screen.
    After this update, updates will be much more frequent, you'd probably get a couple every month. Just like any other early access game. Releasing the Pigeon to the public was discussed not long ago, but it was ruled out because it doesn't work without the new traction updates and physics tweaks. They're just quite 'stuck' at the moment, the only way to fix it is to wait until it's done, there's no alternative. They just weren't expecting it to take this long.

    Their goals right now are kinda like... FIX broken game > Release a stable build to the public > Start adding more features for future updates.


    Oh and for multiplayer, I'd say we'll get that too. I'm sure split screen comes before LAN or Online. :eek:

    I understand and actually agree with you in a lot of ways, but what I'm saying is that there is going to be those immature people who make the devs feel bad for doing the best they can. You can't blame them. They've already brought us an AMAZING pre-alpha release of a game/sim. There is nothing but good in the future of BeamNG for those who stick around.

    Multiplayer = *Drooling*

    What I said was fact and I said nothing wrong or anything that insults anybody , and I said that because I care about the game like all of us not to cause drama and put more pressure on the Devs.
    I'm not against any of you developers , in fact I'm 100% with you guys ! what you have made so far is fantastic but your work need to continue and like I said above its just a feeling that's all .
    I don't really know what kind of problems you're facing while making the updates and I bet they are alot and them taking that long make anybody feels that there is something wrong.
