You realise that's not what the game needs right now? We have enough old cars, we really need more from the 2000's.
Well we got the new pessima and the sunburst, so I’d beg to differ. I think we need a mid 90’s Italian, I5 powered coupe. *cough* Fiat Coupe *cough*
SBR is 2010s, not 2000s. It belongs amongst the 800 Series and K-Series. The new Pessima ended production in 2000, and the Sunburst began production in 2009. That means neither vehicle was in production from 2001 to 2008, and we currently have zero cars to fill that nearly decade-long gap. (The H-Series was made until 2001, but does that really count?) Honestly, I'd be excited for literally any new car that isn't the same category as a vehicle we already have (such as a 1980s midsize sedan, of which we have three). I don't care if we get a Model A or a modern crossover SUV, and frankly I'm a little tired of that being pretty much the only topic of discussion here. We're dangerously close to becoming the Vehicle Suggestions thread, which is people spamming pictures of real life cars with poorly written and unrealistic lore. Swap out the pictures for textwalls and the poorly written lore for "here's why my opinion is great and your opinion sucks" and you basically have this thread in its current state.
With the careermode we need a more in depth system for modding cars imho. Ideally i would be as or more deep than automation engine design, but it a least needs more tuning parts from different manufacturers, instead of stage 2 supercharger you have the choice between two brands with different price, reliability and max boost... . This also applies to all other parts... --- Post updated --- Also raytraced mirror reflections would be cool for obvious reasons, and restricting the raytracing to only the mirrors helps performance and adds detail, rt has many advantages like self reflection and in this case possibly better performance then render to texture...
also, splitting longblocks up into more parts, at very least having the shortblock and valvetrain as 2 separate things.
Bingo bango bongo i will vaporise the congo The bottom line is: We're getting a new car. Pog. We've never really guessed correctly as to what said new cars were going to be without massive hints dropping from the dev team, so take into account the fact that when you're saying "Oh it's a ____" that you're most likely incorrect.
