My gosh it look so beautiful. How long does it take to convert the automation car in beamng-ish like car?
Well it took around 5-6 weeks to get this far. Still learning new things and experimenting around. The model that was kinda screwed by automation also took a few days to get to a better state. It’s still not done. With a less complex automation car that doesn’t overlay cutout lines (doors, hood etc) with non-detachable fixtures, you could do all this a bit faster but it’ll still take some time to create.
I gotta edit that. As I am actually working on adding 20+ engine swaps to every single automation car in existence. Aka making a Universal Automation Mod (already did some things, it works, I’ll really start making progress once the Focus is done)
So basically what you are doing are not only adding parts but also make the doors, hoods and mostly every parts detachable? I'm not a professional in 3D modelling but I can understand the difficulties. But I really wanted to know how you do it. It maybe hard, but if it easy to understand than it should be ok. --- Post updated --- And another thing I forgot to ask. What software do you use to make this kind of things?
I used the powers of Notepad++ and Blender to edit the model correctly inside the body and jbeamed it so it also fit inside the car. It took a while to get it here
