I'm quite certain this is completely wrong. My train wreck of a first attempt at pushrod suspension.

    Edit: Through the engine cover.

As far as looks go, this car sits smugly on top among the modern cars I've seen here. How is development coming?

Slowly. Having to juggle this around everything else is proving difficult, but it is coming together.

I'll do an update when the modelling is complete. Still need to split the car up into its components and do some asymmetrical work for the interior.

I still have next to zero jbeam knowledge, so I'm not looking forward to the next stage. :(

Well even then, I'm sure you have more knowledge than me. Anyway, thanks for the update, and godspeed, my friend...godspeed.

its a very interesting suspension set up, unless u change the bottom wish bone length it wont camber when the suspension compresses, have a look at a koenigsegg's suspension set up

I concur. Didn't notice that at first.

Duplicate length wishbones on a road car are almost unheard of. Convention is for the lower wishbone to be longer which causes the wheel to gain camber under compression, as the body rolls into a corner it means the camber change keeps the flat surface of the wheel flat on the ground instead of running on the edge of the tyre.

    Just a name.

Also in regards to the suspension, most of it is copy paste at this stage. Like I stated earlier, totally wrong and in need of improvement. :)

i don't know if macphersons would be suitable for this type of car, and aparently u cant make them yet due to slidenodes,
Koenigsegg.jpg this type of suspension is much lower and is more suitable for a super/hyper car

also there is less moving parts

That thing looks like a beast, it would be cool to have an AWD race version and a RWD drift version

    - - - Updated - - -

You could also do an H-16, with two straight-8 engines stacked on top of each other

    h-16_001.jpg

race version could have FIA GT3 front splitter and whatever these things on the front corner are called Nissan-GT-R-GT3-JRM-Low-Front-Angle-carwitter-491x326.jpg

Looks interesting. But I'll leave that for another time. A race version is already planned, and this project is taking long enough with just one engine and transmission type. :(
