GPU has not much to do with that, it's CPU bogging down and no, it does not matter if CPU load is only 60% one needs to observe individual core load.
Miramar is a blend of things, not surprisingly. Not sure how it compares to Toyota Corona? Length 161.8" / 4.11m Width 61" / 1.55m Curb weight 2170 lbs / 984.3kg (1.9L Automatic) Old pic of Miramar at Utah Well, they all resemble bit each other, 1966 Toyota Corona in US spec. --- Post updated --- Also, how could I forgot that I have made this mod: https://beamng.com/threads/mirahawk-ridiculous-v8-swap-for-miramar.60087/ It is blend of Miramar and Moonhawk.
Spoiler: Image Heavy Post 1964 Corona: 1966 Corolla: Hakosuka: Datsun 510: 1963 Miramar: I usually go with the gen 3 Corona as it is very close in weight and engine options. My issue with it is the Corona was fairly unique in styling. Look how tapered all the other cars are. The Corona is the only one that is so big and rectangular like the Miramar. It just goes against the general contemporary styling tendencies. It isn't that bad, but comparing the performance versions to the much skinnier contemporaries just feels odd. The stereotypical car in this market is the 510 and they just do not compare in terms of boxy-ness. This is one of the reasons I like the Bluebuck so much, it feels at home with most of the contemporary cars. I don't have much of an issue with the Miramar's styling for the factory configs, it fits well on the Luxe, but it just feels so odd on the performance ones and I cannot imagine it as a rally car even though the 510, the most recognizable car in this class, was famous for that. Just compare these
Is there any news on the other vehicles getting EV versions? Such as the ETK 800, Sunburst, etc? It would be pretty nice because the eSBR is the best car to drive in this game.
About the Miramar, what I meant is that yes I like it but its just kinda forgettable. There aren't as many mods for it as other cars. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the Miramar, I'm just saying a point.
I hope there is, also I hope there is improvement to throttle logic of eSBR, but I have not heard much about that.
Miramar has a lot of potential. Japanese design of these sorts of family cars at the time was very conservative and reserved. The Miramar is anything but. All it needs is a new front fascia and more tuning parts. On another note, I’d like to see a “Japan update.” A new Japanese map plus a dajiban H-series config would be a solid start, but I’m sure a Japanese police SBR4 would fit in too
Sadly the H-series lacks what made Dajiban possible. The Dodge Ram Van was smaller and lighter than its Ford and Chevrolet equivalents (important in a country like Japan where everything is tiny) but still had more power and cargo space than Japanese cargo vans (important when you're trying to haul motorcycles and racing equipment). Being unibodies, they also handled marginally better than their Ford and Chevrolet equivalents... and of course, racers being racers, the haulers were always going to get modded at some point (yet another interesting bit of car culture is possible specifically because car enthusiasts in real life don't think like the car enthusiasts on internet forums!) The Dodges specifically were also available in unusually large numbers due to being used as fleet vehicles by the US armed forces which have a presence at Yokohama (hence why the vast majority of them start as the same 318ci/short-wheelbase variant).
A police SBR would be nice, but there would definitely need to be more "traditional" police vehicles, such as Pessimas, Sunbursts, and even Miramars.
I think we should all stop arguing over which car is the most neglected and just agree that every car currently in-game, save for the Grand Marshal, Bluebuck, and possibly the Piccolina, needs an update. All of the cars suffer from similar problems: a lack of custom parts and configurations, features (separated body on frame, hydraulics, etc.), and technical and graphical improvements, such as interior and engine details, and jbeam overhauls like the GM got. The two new cars (the unknown one and the Wendover) seem very far down the pipeline, so I hope every single car gets a refresh before we see any new ones.
No, it doesn’t? These cars are the devs’ creations. They can manipulate them to fit a certain type or class of vehicle, and you can change things around to make a config fit. Or, you know, make a “race” config that draws inspiration from dajiban but is different in some way...
On the topic of bringing old vehicles up to current standards: The 200bx and sunburst's interior meshes are a bit too low poly, the pigeon's metal interior parts need retexturing, and '96 pessima's carpet needs to be made colourable (and everything else needs the shadow burn turned down). Also, sunburst rear door cards. The 200bx, legran, covet, and sunburst need work specifically on the seat texures. most vehicles should also get more than one interior colour, tan for the bolide and black for the 200bx come to mind. (I still believe "race interiors" should also be a thing, with flocked dashes and bare metal floors in track/rally cars) As for engines, the barstow and moonhawk will likely get the bluebuck engine mesh at some point, based on the textures in the game files. They could also both have their rad supports tweaked, as the barstow's clips through the concealed lights, and the moonhawk's has some -0.5mm of hood clearance. the bolide and moonhawk are also significantly lacking in the engine bay crap department. the ibishu 4 cylinder mesh used in the covet, 96 pessima and 200bx could also be revamped, and potentially moved to the common folder. the pigeon's diesel engine and the SBR's n/a engine lack an air intake, which annoys me to no end. One thing I'm interested in specifically with the upcoming update is the d/h/roamer I6 mesh. it's currently still at 0.3.0 standards, and the restructuring of the engine bays might be a good time to redo it. maybe replacing it with a modified bluebuck 232 mesh?
It scares me also because the Community Lore project people already tried to claim that Bruckell and Gavril were owned by the same company based on common engine meshes so who knows what they'll do with more mesh sharing.
Yes, but.... I think it is not quite ready yet either, I doubt that snorkel pipe can be left going trough like that, so more adjustment to even updated ones might happen.
keep in mind that the inner fenders and stuff haven't been changed yet, with the body-on-frame conversion, so I wouldn't be surprised if this gets fixed in the next update.
