I don't see this post mentioned anywhere, so I'll just point out that the ETA is from next year, before the wild speculations begin But holy crap this has some Jaguar I-pace vibes to me, could we be possibly getting electric and ICE versions?
Just found out the new car's a boring modern sh*tbox, imma really disappointed Seriously devs, we SHOULD'VE got one of these instead: We already have enough modern cars, more classics is what we REALLY need!
I don't like to speculate about new cars but i got idea. Car logo looks like Citroen Logo. Car on teaser is really similar to Peugeot 208 or Citroen DS3. So it's PSA. I guess It's Charmand 1304 B successor from 2020. I guess people will be able to mod it to Opel Corsa thingo. Or even future Fiat models
I am looking forward to the new modern car, but I probably would have been more excited if it was a classic 50s truck like picture of the one you have in your post.
I wouldn't say we have too many old cars at all. We are comparing 1930-2000 to 2000-2020 after all, there's just more to choose from. Especially considering the lack of variety in modern cars. Still, it's been way too long since we got a modern car. As for this car, the grill looks very German/Sweedish, maybe Korean. I don't see much French influence here. Hopefully this'll be Sweedish, maybe with a i-Pace eTrophy inspired race car config.
Could you stop with ,,we need more old cars"? We ONLY have 4 modern cars in this game, and you think that's enough? Also, why you think every modern car is boring? That just doesn't make any sense.
How DARE the vehicle team follow their own vision for the game instead of exclusively giving ME exactly what I want?!?
Obviously there are some cues from just about every midsize hatchback, but I got serious Hyundai i30n vibes. Seeing as no one can decide if it's a hatch or a crossover, I think it would be interesting if they did both, kind of like what Infiniti did with the qx30. It was originally going to be a q30 hatchback, and a qx30 beefier crossover, but I'm pretty sure budgeting got in the way, so they just made the qx30 with a "sport" package which made it into a hatchback. (honestly, a pretty bad car, but IMO it looks fantastic)
There are four modern cars in game; -SBR -ETK 800 -ETK K -Sunburst There are seven "Classics" -Moonhawk -Bartsow -Bluebuck -Bolide -Miramar -Moonhawk -Piccolina -and Burnside There are eleven "in between" cars -Covet -200bx -Grand Marshal -etk I-series (which could potentially be considered a classic european car) -LeGran -Pessima 2000's -pessima 90's -pigeon -D-series -H-series -hopper roarmer All in all, I think its time for a new modern car, it looks sick from what i can see in the teaser and i cant wait for it. I think we should all be happy, rather than being mad cause "new car bad old car gudd"
Look at modern cars, with their drab plastics and dull colors. Classics have more customization potential, and they look better as well.
I bet that's a joke. Anyways, I think West Coast USA is starting to show signs of aging. I think it needs an update between December of 2020 and March of 2021. I also think a heavy duty vehicle like a late 60s and early 70s Ford F-600 to Ford F-800 would go great with a West Coast USA update. Now, I'm not saying it should be a Ford. It should have an alternative dev name. Now, I'm aware that the devs can do whatever they want and I'm aware that they do not have to add it if they don't want to.
Well, Ferrari make FF which is a little oversized hot hatch. But anyway, becasue IRL carmakers didn't make that kind of car, doesn't mean Beam makers can't do it either.
