    Okay then =)

I know you were saying that Brompton sounds like a name a British Guy tried to come up with, but believe it or not. I actually think British Guy would be a decent name for a TV show character.

Yes the meaning is 100% fake

''One of biggest Keiretsu in japan''

A Japaense Keiretsu Founed In 1404

Orign:Hiroji Comes From ヒーローズ ''Which Means Iron or copper''

    History
    'Early Days'

Sanamastu Hiroji Started The 'Hiroji Iron Group' in 1404 prior to it he started a Iron Statrup Called 'Sanmastua'
With his startup growing he started the Building Ships and Carriages and Swords which soon gained a ton of money

    '1440s-1500s'
In 1442 Sanamasutu Hiroji Passed to his son Izkaism Hiroji, the group now had dark future as japan had massive war The most powerful was Hiroji Daimyō
Which Toke over japan in 1452 Under Hiroji Ibian Which started Hroji Era of Japan during this japan grew powerful.
By 1462 the company moved from city of Isbuskisa to Kubiaski Which was renmaed Hiroji By 1470s.

The exact reason I started to move away from this thread, right here.
My entire reason for creating Legion was the fact that it wasn't based on anything, so it would spur people like @MrAnnoyingDude into having a slightly original idea. What he did with it by the way was pretty cool.
Now I understand that some of my names have been plain and utter shite and are ripoffs of other cars, I still made SOME attempts to have original ideas. And still do, as I'm planning on making a British sedan brand from the 60s currently.

To be fair, it's hard to come up with something both realistic and untried, and Beam is more on the real-world-based side.

Well, I guess I'm more on the real car-like side.

And I make some far-fetched blends. British Leyland + Rootes + Fiat?

    You-
    UUUUGGGHHHH
Blending car brands and slapping a new name on them is absolutely not creative.
"Real car like" Legion isn't far off from that, could have easily existed in the real world.

To be fair, BeamNG dev cars are often basically real-life cars with some changes. The Covet is very much like a Civic, the Grand Marshall is a Caprice with some Crown Vic influence, the D-Series is like a Chevy C/K, the 200BX is a Nissan S13, the Hopper is basically a Japanese Wrangler...

You keep making the argument that because the cars in game bear resemblance to real-world cars, then of course the made-up car brands should be copy-pastings of real-world car brands. The two factors are not as correlated as you seem to believe. Creating a variety of generic vehicles that resemble real cars but no single one in particular (again, especially the SBR4, Pigeon, and new Pessima) it is far different from coming up with an uncreative and unrealistic brand name (that is either a standard noun or completely ridiculous) and equally uncreative and unrealistic "lore."

To summarize, creating (playable) vehicles for the game that resemble real cars but do not copy them is not the same as bad writing.

I don't copy real cars much, but if you're making realistic lore, real cars of the same segment are bound to pop up as a reference point.

There's a "reference point," and then there's "Neptune" and "Bruckell-Autobello Motors."

Oldsmobile: A brand that once used to be GM's upper-midrange contender, selling middle-of-the-road somewhat-expensive cars, but ended up getting diluted over the years, and finally discontinued in 2004 after it become nothing more than fancier Chevrolets.
Saturn: GM's idea for a more youthful brand, closed in 2010.
Buick: GM's midrange brand. Old automaker in the United States, founded in 1899. Was considered a candidate for removal from the range, but it is popular enough in China for GM not to do so.
Mercury: Ford's budget-luxury brand. Used to be the go-to name for innovative luxury brand, but then started chasing volume in the 1960s, and ended up getting closed in 2011.
Pontiac: A brand that supposedly was GM's sporty one since the 50s, but then started being pushed towards quasi-sport-budget. Ultimately ended up closed in 2010, due to a shrinking market.
GMC: Chevrolet's truck brand, originally created to give truck coverage to areas which had other GM brands' dealerships. With Pontiac and Oldsmobile off the market, it's now used to produce upmarketed crossovers and pickups for suburbanites, while Chevrolet keeps the blue-collar fleet market.
Ford of Europe: Ford's European wing, formed in 1967 by merging Ford's German, British, and Irish subsidiaries.
BMW: One of the largest luxury car companies in the world, as well as the owner of Rolls-Royce and Mini.
Aston Martin: A British sporty luxury brand. Remembered for their 60s high-end sports cars, had a bit of a worse period in the 80s and 90s, but managed to rebound to an extent.
Holden: GM's Australian subsidiary. Recently stripped of its own production capabilities.

    Nice work, dude.
