After renting a truck and trailer for the day, I arrived and picked up my new Hopper. Thankfully the owner kept it under a tarp so the paint still has a thick clear coat on it. I climbed on in and started up the I4, and of course it started up as any Hopper I4 would. I drove it onto the trailer, paid the guy, and drove back home. As soon as I arrived, I unloaded it and wheeled it into the hangar. where I begun to empty it of any fluids so I wouldn't be showered in oil or gas as I worked on it. " Let the fun begin..."
Today's progress on the D25 consisted of finishing the welding on the suspension components. I also picked up a used set of coilovers for the front and swapped them out for the pair I borrowed. I then got to work on the cage and was able to knock out the whole thing in just one day. To make this task easier, I removed the bench seat, windshield, and rear glass from the cab in order to get better access for welding. Later on, I went and picked up a used sheet metal bumper and hitch for really cheap.
I made it myself, I found a rusty skin and added some graffiti. I won't share it as I don't want to cause any issues with the creator of the rusty skin. I'm still repairing the 200bx, but I'll give you the skoda for $2000? I want to get the 200bx perfect, but I'll let you have it for less when I finish it. The Skoda has been almost finished besides the paintwork, new bumpers, bonnet, all creases and dents (were only minor) filled in and sanded down ready to be painted. Edit: Pick up the Skoda today and we'll cut the price $50. Has half a tank of fuel in.

They tried to take everything... but sadly, I hold a grudge. I approach the truck quickly, although a old I6 doesn't have much of a punch to it. As I we edge into the tunnel, I bump the outside rear bemper of the d-series, making it lose rear grip. The driver overcorrects, slamming the poor d-series's front into the wall before coming to a stop at the side. I move quickly, firing 2 shots into the truck. I get out, take their money and evacuate the scene before I dump the car. "Alright; i'm almost in the clear now. just one more gang to deal with. And luckily, their locals here." I dump the car outside a repair garage and head to the dealer with my new found wealth.
Found an old wreck out front of the repair shop - doesn't seem to belong to anyone, and has nothing in it, so I informed the owner, who had no clue why it was there. I called a tow company and took the car away. It's my new project now - We'll see what we can do with it. --- Post updated --- 6PM - Utah campsite I'm back at last - now I can get a good look around the moonhawk. It has a little damage on the front, barely visible though and enough rust for at least 3 cars the interior is mint Moonhawks are beautiful cars, so I'll most likely just restore this one. Annoyingly, its the slower i6 model, still good enough though
After getting off of work today, I spent 2 hours removing a bunch of parts from the hopper so I can remove the shell tomorrow along with the engine. Now I still have to order some important parts ( e.g.: Axles, diffs, shocks, engine, and engine mounting brackets.) But hopefully all of the suspension components will arrive by the end of December at the most.
