Foodshopping with my mother. Lady behind us on line was making a big deal over us having 17 items in the 10 item or less line. For some reason she had to use the self checkout we were at instead of any of the empty ones... I wanted to escalate that situation beyond reasonable so bad...
A C-130 tanker fighting fires near the Australian capitol went down a couple hours ago killing all 3 crew. That now brings the Australian bushfire death toll to 32, including 6 firefighters.
Very grim stuff, that tanker was based at the local RAAF base near me so I used to see it all the time, I guess not anymore
remember that time your precious capital was at risk of burning / has burned down? this post was made by ireland gang
I4 turbo/10 speed is the only powertrain option in the U.S. Suspension is wayyyy underdampened. Bed is too high.
Damn, that's another layer on top of the bushfire cake. First, a massive fire, then, a flood, and now, an aircraft, whose personnel did their best to help put out the fires? Shrike Feel bad for you guys --- Post updated --- googles it proceeds to wash eyes
MrJavelin is an oompa loompa until he completes the Wentward trucks Wait I'll always be an oompa loompa.
Well, this may seem like an odd question, but... I'll soon have to choose a college subject, and then a job, and I don't really have any good ideas. I figured that with how much some of you know me, I might ask here. So, what do you think I would be good at? It's a serious question.
All new trucks are way too big, but the "midsize" Ranger pickup really puts me off. I dislike how it is so high in the back compared to the front. It has fake engine noise. And its so boaty. You can almost get sea sick. Frontier/Colorado/Tacoma all have much lower, more practical bed heights. And have optional or standard V6. That's what its all about. That being said, all of the Rangers I've driven had limited slip differentials and were very happy going sideways. I like the new Silverado. My biggest gripe with it though, is that there seems to be something loose in the rear end on all of them. You can feel it every time you hit the brakes, particularly at low speeds. Feels like the whole axle housing shifts back or forth a bit. Very strange.
