Well, this may seem like an odd question, but... I'll soon have to choose a college subject, and then a job, and I don't really have any good ideas. I figured that with how much some of you know me, I might ask here. So, what do you think I would be good at? It's a serious question.
All new trucks are way too big, but the "midsize" Ranger pickup really puts me off. I dislike how it is so high in the back compared to the front. It has fake engine noise. And its so boaty. You can almost get sea sick. Frontier/Colorado/Tacoma all have much lower, more practical bed heights. And have optional or standard V6. That's what its all about. That being said, all of the Rangers I've driven had limited slip differentials and were very happy going sideways. I like the new Silverado. My biggest gripe with it though, is that there seems to be something loose in the rear end on all of them. You can feel it every time you hit the brakes, particularly at low speeds. Feels like the whole axle housing shifts back or forth a bit. Very strange.
Blame the Toyota Hilux for the midsize segment growing. It got taller & bigger, more offroad capable and more people bought it. So everyone else wanted a slice of those sales and bulked up their pickups. Although really America is to blame, the fullsize trucks in America became giant luxury vehicles. So in countries where the midsize pickups were more popular, they had to follow the trend of their big American cousins. Also don't forget, the Ranger is almost a decade old. You Americans just got it very late in its lifecycle.
The midsize Pickup market will become something like the full-size Pickup market was supposed to be. As you mentioned, the pickups we know and love (Silverado/F-150/RAM) are now do-it-all landyatchs. The RAM 2500, one of my favorites, also went offsite with the looks. They ditched the classic grille RAM pickups were known for, and replaced it with something more basic. But, it doesn't blend with the headlights and bumper. At least it isn't unproportionately huge like the Silverado
Just think. Someone actually put effort into this. If polygons were trees, Hum3D has chopped down the Amazon to make a birdhouse.
Literally the definition of "overkill" Although I definitely will be stealing your analogy in the future. lmao
Everyone's talking about this pneumonia plague, nobody's mentioned that when pneumonia is dissolved in water, the water donates a proton to form pneumonium hydroxide
Hang on that's a great question... let me just steal that rq " Well, this may seem like an odd question, but... Lol, but for real, anyone got a job suggestion for my personality and one that's good/ fairly enjoyable with working as part of a team? Think Work friends= your family
I just met someone that said enviornmentalists are the ones killing the enviornment... (In reference to people realizing how stupid/dangerous a particular proposal about a local ecogical issue here is). Have I heard it all yet?
Stuff like that should be surprising, but in this day in age it isn't. I almost expect it. If I've learned anything about this present day world, it's that it's got quite the talent for having something even more insane than the last insane thing lurking just around the corner.
Every time I think I lost hope in humanity something happens that makes me realize: No, I can have less hope. I should make a T-Shirt out of that.
